Cute Premier Handball: Prime SC, Narinda Pragoti Boys reach final
Prime Sporting Club and Narinda Pragoti Boys Club reached the final of the Cute Premier Division Handball League' 2022 beating their opponents at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here Saturday.
The final match will be held on Monday (Nov 7) at 3 pm at the same venue.
Prime Sporting Club reached the final berth as the Group A champions outplaying Arambagh KS by 55-17 goals after dominating the first half by 23-7 goals Saturday noon.

In the day's another match, Narinda Pragoti Boys Club emerged B Group champions to reach the final eliminating Bangla Club 46-36 goals after trailing by 20-19 goals n the first session in the afternoon.
In the day's other match., Jurain Janata Club beat Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club by 28-25 goals after trailing the first half by 9-15 goals Saturday afternoon.

Capitec Asset Management Limited Cup Golf Tournament-2022" has ended.
Capitec Asset Management Limited, one of the top asset management companies in the country, sponsored this tournament with the participation of more than 50 golfers.
The prize distribution ceremony of the tournament was held recently at Osmani Hall, Jalalabad Golf Club, Sylhet, says a press release.

Besides, higher officials of Jalalabad Golf club and other senior officials of Capitec were also present at the event.
Hockey Champions Trophy: Rupayan City beat Mettro Express 4-3
Coming from behind, Rupayan City Cumilla earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Mettro Express Barisal in the first franchise-based Hockey Champions Trophy Bangladesh 2022 Thursday.
At the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka, Fazle Mahmud Rabbi put Mettro Express ahead in the 16th minute from a penalty corner (1-0). Akhimullah Eshook doubled the margin in the 40th minute with a field goal (2-0).
Rupayan City Cumillla made a comeback in the match when their Malaysia player Kim Sung Yeob scored three consecutive goals in only six minutes – 42nd, 44th and 46th minutes, all from penalty corners (3-2).
Hockey Champions Trophy: Rupayan City Cumilla beat Monarch Padma 4-3
Rupayan City Cumilla returned to winning ways after beating Shakib Al Hasan's Monarch Padma by 4-3 in the first franchise-based Hockey Champions Trophy Bangladesh 2022 at the floodlit Maulana Bhasani National Stadium Wednesday.
This was the second win for Rupayan City Cumilla in their third match after they had conceded a 3-4 defeat against Walton Dhaka Monday.
Shohanur Rahman Sobuj struck two goals, Pushkar Kisha Mimo and Obaibul Hossain Joy scored one each for Cumilla.
Krishna Kumar, Japanese player Miya Tasnimitsu and Korean player Sea Jongn scored one each for Monarch Padma.

Rupayan City Cumilla captain Shohanur Rahman Sobuj was adjudged the man of the match.
Earlier, Rupayan City Cumilla made a good start beating Monarch Padma 3-2 in their first match.
Six teams – Acme Chattogram, Mettro Express Barisal, Monarch Padma, Rupayan City Cumilla, Saif Power Group Khulna and Walton Dhaka – are locking horns at the Hockey Champions Trophy.

Flame Boys Club earned the 2nd consecutive victory in the Cute Premier Division Handball League' 2022 outplaying all-losers Arambagh KS by 52-30 goal at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here Wednesday afternoon.
Flame Boys Club, which made a good start beating Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club by 29-23 goal on Tuesday, today (Wednesday) dominated the first half by 25-14 goal.
In the day's other matches, Narinda Pragoti Boys Club beat Menjis KC by 59-32 goal in the morning, Bangla Club defeated Surjodaya KC by 47-13 goal at noon while Prime SC beat Jurain Janata Club by 50-18 goal in the afternoon.

Menjis Krira Chakra made a good start in the Cute Premier Division Handball League 2022 beating Surjodaya Krira Chakra by 39-28 goal in the official opening match at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan here on Tuesday.
The winner led the first half by 21-12 goal.

Walton Dhaka tasted the first victory in their 2nd match of the first-ever franchise-based Champions Trophy Hockey Bangladesh 2022 beating Rupayan City Cumilla by 4-3 goals at the Maulana Bhasani National Stadium here on Monday.
In their previous matches, Walton Dhaka conceded a 1-2 goals defeat against Mettro Express Barisal while Rupayan City Cumilla beat Monarch Padma by 3-2 goals.
In the day's match, captain Ashraful Islam two successive goals in the 7th and 19th minutes, both from penalty corners while Indonesian player Alfandy Aly Surya scored a field goal, the 3rd goal for Dhaka, in the 20th minute (3-0).

Captain Sohanur Rahman Sobuj reduced the Cumilla margin in the 21st minute from a penalty corner (3-1) while Indonesian Alfandy Aly again widened the Dhaka margin in the 24th minute from a penalty corner (4-1).
Malaysian player Kim Sung Yeob scored twice for Dhaka, first from penalty stroke in the 32nd minute while another from penalty corner in the 39th minute to reduce the margin (4-3), but failed to avoid the defeat.

Asian Continental Chess: GM Razib of Bangladesh beats Indian IM Dinesh
Grand Master Enamul Hossain Razib of Bangladesh beat Indian International Master Dinesh Kumar Sharma in the 6th round open section match of the Asian Continental Chess Championships held in the Indian capital New Delhi on Monday.
In the day's 6th round, GM Razib played with white pieces to choose the Ruy-Lopez opening system and beat his opponent after 39 moves.
In the Women’s section, Bangladeshi WCM Jannatul Ferdous received bye in the day's 6th round match.
After the day's 6th round, GM Enamul Hossain Razib earned 2.5 points while WCM Jannat bagged 2 points.
Cute Premier Handball League begins Tuesday
The Cute Premier Division Handball League 2022, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF), begins here on Tuesday (November 1) at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan.
Menzis Krira Chakra will play Surjodaya Krira Chakra in the official opening match, will kick-off at 3pm. State Minister for Youth and Sports M Zahid Ahsan Russell will inaugurate the league as the chief guest Tuesday afternoon. Chairman of the meet's sponsor Mousumi Industries Ltd (Cute) Kazi Razibddin Ahmed Chapal will also present as special guest.
Two more matches will also be held on Tuesday, prior to the opening ceremony. Arambagh KS will face Jurain Janata Club at 12 noon while Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club will play Flame Boys Club at 1:30 pm at the same venue.

Three players are dominating the Sheikh Kamal 47th National "B" Chess Championship 2022, securing four points after the fourth-round matches at the Bangladesh Chess Federation in Dhaka Sunday.
The top performers are FM Subrata Biswas, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Bangladesh Police and CM Md Sharif Hossain of Bangladesh Navy.
Eight players are sharing the second spot with 3.5 points each.
They are IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar, IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin and FM Khandaker Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy, CM Nayem Haque of Bangladesh Biman, Anata Choudhury, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and CM Md Shawket Bin Osman Shaon.
