Vivo V23 Pro Review: Does the quality concur with the look?
Vivo's V-series has evolved from mass-market mid-rangers to a performance beast that challenges the limits of industrial designs and ergonomics. This time, Vivo launches V23 Pro, a spec monster crammed with high-end technology and a cryptic colour-changing design that sets the tone for the new year. The phone has its first appearance on 5th January 2022. Let's check out the key features, and price of Vivo V23 Pro in Bangladesh.
Key Features of Vivo V23 Pro
Design
Vivo is no stranger to oddly shaped phones, but with the V23 Pro, the brand has excelled itself. From a distance, the gadget resembles a standard Android phone, with a sleek frame supporting the phone's curved display and swooping back together. Having said that, up close, users will see that the phone's shimmering back begins to change colour the moment sunlight strikes it.
To illustrate, Vivo has used Fluorite AG glass in the V23 Pro, which reacts to UV rays. It changes the exposed area of the phone's normally golden back to a blue-ish colour when exposed. The colour-changing effect is as distinctive as it is mesmerizing, and users will be hard pushed to find any phone on the market with a comparable design attribute. To summarize, the V23 Pro adds a creative twist to a traditional smartphone design.
Read Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: What Will It Offer?
Regrettably, no. The phone's Stardust Black colour option does not have a colour-changing back. According to the firm, the impact should last around 18-24 months, at which point the majority of consumers would transfer or upgrade to a newer phone.
Display
The Vivo V23 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The panel delivers a refresh rate of 90Hz, which isn't the fastest by last year's standards but is still a notch faster than smartphones with 60Hz displays.
Now, if anyone has never been a fan of curved-screen phones, the V23 Pro is unlikely to alter his mind. To that end, despite its attractive design, the phone's display suffers from poor palm rejection. Additionally, the panel ships with a very large notch at the top, which takes some getting used to.
Read Walton Primo S8 Review: The Local Phone Unveils Powerful Processor
Fortunately, the screen is quite bright and maxes out at 800 nits, allowing users to use the phone outside without straining their eyes. Additionally, the gadget has excellent viewing angles, and users will see no irregular backlight leakage along the display's curved borders. Additionally, the gadget does allow HD playback from OTT services such as Prime Video.
Rear Cameras
The Vivo V23 Pro has a triple camera panel with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP Omni vision ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The images taken with the phone's main sensor are less than ideal. Indeed, when users go through the gallery included below, they will see that photographs taken during the day lack detail. The same can be seen in the picture with the blue generator grid, where the tree on the left-hand side of the frame looks to have been lifted directly from a watercolour painting.
Read Infinix Hot 11 Play Review with Price in Bangladesh
The leaves, in particular, lack substance, and the flower pots on the lower right look to be mushy as well.
Fortunately, the sensor's colour science is not excessive, and scenes are often represented realistically. In low light, the smartphone's primary sensor performs an adequate job of keeping scene details. The photographs are extremely grainy, especially when using the night mode.
Surprisingly, the V23 Pro captures exceptional closeups with plenty of clarity and natural-looking colours. There is a notable difference in colour temperature between the regular and macro lenses. Indeed, macro sensor photos seem faded out. The photographs taken with the device's ultra-wide sensor are also lacking, with the sensor straining to properly expose the frame. Additionally, the shot's details are sparse.

Front Cameras
For selfies, the gadget has a 50MP primary selfie camera augmented by an additional 8MP lens for wide-angle selfies or groupies. The smartphone's 50MP selfie camera captures stunning selfies. Now, If anyone is trying to publish a faultless self-portrait on social media, the phone comes equipped with a slew of beauty options that may come in useful. Additionally, the phone has a unique dual-flush array above the selfie camera module, significantly improving the quality of low-light selfies.
Performance and Software
Devices powered by MediaTek's Density 9000 SoC are imminent, yet Vivo has opted for the tried-and-true Dimensity 1200 CPU in its current offering. To illustrate, the Density 1200 was one of the most VFM SoCs in 2021, and the chipset continues to amaze, racking up impressive results in simulated testing applications.
The tablet also performed well while multitasking, which may be attributed to the device's lightning-fast UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4x RAM, which significantly decreased load times when switching between various applications. The smartphone can run visually intensive games in competitive settings. Indeed, users may configure PUBG: New State to its maximum graphics and frame rate settings.

Additionally, BGMI performed well at the HDR visuals, and Ultra FPS presets. Now, users will need to adjust the settings to the 'Smooth' preset in order to get 60 frames per second in the game. Despite this, there are no noticeable frame dips during intense gunfights. Nonetheless, the V23 Pro, like several other phones powered by the Density 1200 SoC, overheats under heavy use. Indeed, the device throttled to about 77% of its entire performance in our CPU Throttle test, one of the lowest values ever.
Battery and Charger
The V23 Pro is powered by a 4,300mAh battery, which, regrettably, does not last long enough to carry users through a long work week. Indeed, the test was conducted with the phone plugged in at about 6 p.m., with my use consisting of viewing YouTube videos, transferring audio to my Bluetooth earbuds, and interacting with people through a variety of social media and networking applications. Fortunately, the smartphone comes with a lightning-fast 44W charger that charges the handset in a little over an hour.
Price of V23 Pro in Bangladesh
The phone is not officially launched in Bangladesh. Converted from the Indian currency, the price of the phone can start around BDT 44995. The conversion rate here is 1 INR = 1.15 BDT.

Bottom Line
For the price, the smartphone has several interesting features, including a colour-changing back and a pair of competent selfie cameras. Nonetheless, the smartphone's price puts it in direct competition with more powerful and feature-rich handsets powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset. For example, the iQOO 7 Legend retails for around the same price and boasts superior performance, more competent back cameras, and far quicker wired charging. As a result, It can be suggested that the Vivo V23 Pro is for the aficionados of selfies. For the rest, the market is brimming with more well-rounded alternatives.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: What Will It Offer?
Samsung Electronics is poised to introduce the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. The first look of the phone was released on the 4th January 2022. The S21 FE 5G is a smartphone that combines select premium features from the Galaxy S21 with a well-rounded design to allow individuals to discover and express themselves. It has many of the Galaxy S21's most popular features, including an eye-catching appearance, strong performance, a pro-grade camera, and a seamless ecosystem connection. This article will elaborate on the important features of the phone.
Key Features of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G
Design
Samsung originally used the 'FE' moniker a few years ago to refer to a simplified version of one of its flagship products. People have become great admirers of the Galaxy S20 FE, which was an easier recommendation than the normal S20 in many respects, thanks to its slightly bigger display and better Snapdragon CPU. Not to mention the lower cost.
The S21 FE, on the other hand, seems to be a more difficult sell — at least on initial impressions. For starters, Samsung made the ordinary S21 handset more affordable than its predecessor and included some of the FE range's more mid-range capabilities from the start. Among them were a plastic body, a flat display, and a lower-resolution display. The S21 first seemed like a FE gadget, which raises the issue of how important this is.
Read Walton Primo S8 Review: The Local Phone Unveils Powerful Processor
As soon as the S21 FE gets removed from its packaging, it will feel familiar. On the back, users will get a camera module that is remarkably similar to the Galaxy S21's rear camera module. Although the body is composed of plastic with metal edges, it feels robust and weighs only 177g. Coming from the somewhat taller iPhone 13 Pro Max, this feels quite pleasant to hold for lengthy periods of time.
Display
The Galaxy S21 FE's 6.4-inch AMOLED display is bigger than the normal S21's 6.2-inch display, while somewhat smaller than the Galaxy S20 FE's 6.5-inch display. The smaller panel does not seem claustrophobic, and consumers would argue that it makes the S21 FE simpler to operate with one hand than the prior model.
As with the S20 FE, the Galaxy S21 FE can offer a 120Hz refresh rate provided the device's Settings app is set to High motion smoothness. This implies that scrolling will seem smoother on the Galaxy S21 FE's display, resulting in an improved overall user experience.
Read Vivo Y15s Review: Is this budget phone worth buying?
Having said that, it seems as if you can only manually switch between 120Hz and 60Hz; the other Galaxy S21 phones include adaptive screens that change on the fly. While this is a slight distinction, it helps justify the $100 premium above the basic S21.
Rear Cameras
While there are minor differences in specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE's camera performance is mostly equivalent to the S21 and S21 Plus. Indeed, there are more similarities than differences.
The cardinal camera is a 12MP sensor, which, along with the 12MP ultrawide, is a carryover from the S21. However, although the S21 additionally has a 64MP telephoto camera, the S21 FE only includes an 8MP telephoto camera.
Read Infinix Hot 11 Play Review with Price in Bangladesh
While its telephoto snapper has a lesser resolution than the S21's, it is actually coupled with the same lens, which offers 1.1x optical or 3x hybrid zoom; for the majority of users, this apparent decrease will make little impact.
It's commendable that the images captured with the three distinct cameras shared a color profile - many phone cameras don't, and switching between zoom and regular shots might alter the appearance of colors and brightness. For the S21 FE, people could ensure that hues will seem the same regardless of the zoom setting used.
Numerous photography and videography modes from prior Samsung phones are also here, including Single Take, which concurrently records images with multiple lenses so you can choose the best, and Dual Recording, which lets you record video with both the rear and front cameras.
Read Best Flagship Smartphones Released in 2021
Front Camera
On the front of the phone is a 32 MP camera – an upgrade over the 10MP camera on the previous S21 variants – but the resolution isn't always the deciding factor in picture quality.
Photos taken with the primary camera were very vivid, which is relatively normal for Samsung phones - it's clear that the brand's scene optimization software has never heard of oversaturation. Nonetheless, the primary camera capabilities render photos immediately social media-worthy, particularly in well-lit conditions.
Performance and Software
Many of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE's main specifications are carried over from the S20, with one notable difference. Whereas the S20 was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 CPU, the S21 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The 888 is identical to the S21 series of chips.
Read MIUI 13 Review: Major Updates, Key Features and Compatible Phones
Throughout 2021, it was also the most popular SoC for flagships and high-end mid-range phones. Qualcomm has now discontinued the 888 in favor of a newer chip, albeit that silicon has not yet been integrated into consumer goods.
Apart from the CPU, the S21 FE retains the same memory and storage configurations as its predecessor. This equates to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It seemed smooth and quick throughout our little time with the phone.
Battery and Charger
After that, there is the battery. This is a straight carryover from the previous call. The battery has 4,500mAh in capacity. It supports 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Price of Samsung Falaxy S21 FE in Bangladesh
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is available with two different storage capacities. To begin, there is a variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at BDT 59,975, as well as an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model priced at BDT 66,067.
Bottom Line
The primary competitor for this smartphone is expected to be Samsung. A short check reveals that the basic S21 is available for less expense, and if forced to choose between the two, people should choose for the S21 over the FE. Then there's the approaching Galaxy S22 launch to consider; it's worth waiting to see what the Galaxy S22's basic model has to offer before making this purchase.

Vivo Y15s Review: Is this budget phone worth buying?
Vivo phones have been in the market for a long time now. The company easily captured the Bangladeshi market thanks to its great camera and budget pricing. The Vivo Y15s are a testament to that. It is an entry-level phone released in November 2021. And for many casual users, this phone ticks a lot of boxes. Here is a detailed review of the phone so that the readers can decide whether to go for it or not.
Key Features of Vivo Y15s
Design and Build Quality
One thing to note before diving into the detailed review is that this is a budget phone. So, there are a lot of cut corners to accommodate the aggressive pricing. And it starts with the design and builds the quality of the phone. This is a plastic phone all around. The front of the phone is glass housed in a plastic frame and a plastic back. However, Vivo has done an excellent job of making a premium feel out of the plastic body.
Read Walton Primo S8 Review: The Local Phone Unveils Powerful Processor
The phone is available in two colors – wave blue and mystic green. There is a beautiful reflective pattern on the back of the phone which alleviates the look and feel of the phone. The hard plastic also gives a good heft to the phone. At 179 gm, the phone is considerably lightweight.
Overall, the phone does well for itself in this price bracket. The build quality is decent with a considerably good-looking design.
Read Best Flagship Smartphones Released in 2021
Display
Vivo went with an IPS LCD with this phone. The display is crisp and sharp at HD+ resolution. The phone has 720 x 1600 pixels with a 270 ppi pixel density. At an HD+ resolution, the 6.51-inch display gets considerably bright for its price range. outdoor visibility is fairly decent under direct sunlight.
One issue with a lower-end IPS display is color fading and visibility angles. The display looks washed out and viewing angles aren't great as well. However, Vivo has done an excellent job of retaining the true contrast. The display viewing angles are also great. It's nothing flagship level but the color appears to be accurate and there aren’t any noticeable color shifts on the display.
The wide color gamut support allows the users to tweak display preferences. Users can choose between warm and cool tones which is a very useful feature.

Camera
For a basic entry-level smartphone, this phone has a dual-camera setup. There is a 13 MP main sensor with an additional 2 MP depth sensor. The main sensor also works as a wide-angle shooter. There is also a proprietary 8 MP front shooter on the phone.
The main sensor has autofocus which works seemingly well. The phone can take decent photos under well-lit environments and direct sunlight. The photos look crisp and sharp with no color distortion whatsoever. The wide-angle sensor catches a decent number of subjects within the frame. The video quality is also good. It can shoot 1080P at 30 fps which is a standard at this price bracket. But without OIS and EIS, the video is noticeably shaky and distorted.
They tend to struggle in dimly lit and dark environments. There are noticeable grains and fading on the picture and the camera fails to pick up comparatively darker areas.
Read Infinix Hot 11 Play Review with Price in Bangladesh
Processor and Performance
The phone features a Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 processor built on the 12 nm architecture. This is a power-hungry processor which consumes a significant level of the battery. But the phone has decent capabilities which will be discussed in the next point. The processor is an Octa-core 4 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. The four main processors work as the main computational source of the phone whereas the other 4 are reserved for light activities within the UI.
The P35 is coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Again, this is an entry-level GPU that only ticks the basic boxes. Playing with graphic intensive games on this device won't be possible due to thermal throttling and battery drain. But it can easily work for lightweight casual games.
For normal day-to-day tasks like browsing social media or watching YouTube videos, the phone performs moderately well. But again, it struggles with anything that is graphics or processor intensive.
Read Top 10 Best Upcoming Smartphones in Bangladesh in January 2022
The OS of this phone is Funtouch 11.1 based on Android 11. Now, it might be a good thing that it is based on Android 11 but it’s not the proprietary version. It’s based on the Go version of Android 11 which is missing certain features available on the full android. The Funtouch UI is decent to use but it's nothing stock level. There is considerable bloatware and the UI can be a hit or miss for many. For people who have used Vivo phones before, the UI should not be an issue in any way. But it might take some getting used to for people switching from other OS or stock android.
Battery and Charge Time
The phone features a 5000 mAh battery. The 5000 mAh has become a standard for most entry-level and mid-range phones due to the nature of the processor they use. This phone has a great battery life thanks to the large battery size and the lower resolution HD+ plus display. Expect around 7 to 8 hours of screen time. For heavy users, this phone should easily last a whole day of usage. The lightweight users can easily stretch the battery to one and a half to two days.
Read Oppo Find N Review: What’s special about it?
The charging time is almost two hours due to the standard 10W charging speed. There isn’t any proprietary fast charging on this device.
Price of Vivo 15s in Bangladesh
The price of Vivo Y15s in Bangladesh is 12,990 BDT.
Verdict
To wrap things up, the Vivo Y15s is a decent entry-level phone. It checks almost all the boxes like a good display, battery life, usability, and OS. However, it does struggle with the camera and heavy usage. But that is some of the tradeoffs that come with entry-level ones. Overall, this phone is an easy sale simply considering its price.

Walton Primo S8 Review: The Local Phone Unveils Powerful Processor
Walton was the first local tech conglomerate to venture into producing locally-made phones. The Walton Primo S8 is a successor to that long line of smartphones which are affordable and provide a great value for money. With its quad-camera setup, FHD+ display, and large battery, the Primo S8 looks to be yet another promising phone from Walton. But how does this latest Walton Smartphone stack up against the competitors? Read along for a detailed review.
Walton Primo S8 Key Features
Design and Build Quality
Holding the phone, the first noticeable thing is its weight and heft. At about 205 grams, the Primo S8 is on the higher end of the weight category. Though much of it is due to the large battery housed inside. Even with the large battery, the phone is just 8.6 mm thick with a glass front and back. All four sides of the phone are made flat with tapering on the front and back.
Read Infinix Hot 11 Play Review with Price in Bangladesh
There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is becoming rare with each cycle of smartphone releases. There is also a single firing speaker along with the Type-C port on the bottom.
The volume rocker and the power button are housed on the right with the sim tray on the left. The power button also acts as a fingerprint sensor for added security. The volume rocker and power button feel tactile to the touch and have a satisfying click. The weight distribution of this device is better than most other heavy smartphones. As a result, the weight won’t bother much even after long sessions of use.
The front glass is a 2.5D curved one that isn’t rated for scratch or fall resistance. The phone also doesn’t come with any sort of IP rating so it won’t be water or dust resistant. However, at this budget, the device isn’t even expected to have them to begin with.
Read MIUI 13 Review: Major Updates, Key Features and Compatible Phones
Display
The phone features an IPS capacitive touchscreen that supports up to 16M colors. However, the capacitive technology is an old one where more advanced IPS LCDs are available at this price point.
However, the sharp contrast of the FHD+ display does a decent job of throwing crispy colors. The high 90 Hz refresh offers a usual smooth feel thanks to the UI and high display density. However, the viewing angles aren’t all that great on this device. Again, much of it is due to the display being a capacitive one which is the only mentionable downside.
The display also gets significantly bright on the indoors as well as outdoor usage scenarios The phone provides perfect legibility under direct sunlight. Overall, it’s a decent display that ticks most of the boxes.

Camera
The main selling feature of this phone is its rear camera series. This device comes with a total of 4 sensors in it. There is a 48 MP main sensor, 5 MP wide-angle, 2 MP macro, and another 2 MP for the depth sensor. The main sensor can shoot up to 1080P at 30 fps.
The main show here is the 48 MP where the rest three sensors are kind of gimmicky for everyday use. The front camera is an 8 MP wide-angle lens that can shoot pretty decent wide-angle selfies.
Infinix Hot 11 Play Review with Price in Bangladesh
Infinix was preparing to debut the new Infinix Hot 11 Play in 2021 and ultimately did so on. 15th November 2021, Infinix revealed its latest smartphone Hot 11 Play. In this device, Infinix brought a considerable amount of improvements to challenge the compititors in budget segment. However, like every budget phone Hot 11 Play has some limitations. Lets check out the pros and cons of Infinix Hot 11 Play.
Key Features of Infinix Hot 11 Play
Design
The Hot 11 Play is entirely constructed of plastic. It has the same slick, fingerprint-resistant display as previous Infinix devices. While I loathe the appearance, it is resistant to smearing and scraping, which is a significant benefit in this area. While the innovative wavy gradient design is interesting, I'd like to see Infinix introduce a completely new look in the near future.
To be true, this phone differs from previous Infinix offerings due to its revolutionary camera architecture. The camera module is flush with the body, and the phone is not too thick. The phone's back has a twin lens system.
Read MIUI 13 Review: Major Updates, Key Features and Compatible Phones
Despite this, the phone is hardly lightweight, weighing in at over 185 grams. I'm not sure whether it's the breadth of the device or the way the rear bends toward the sides, but this phone is not very ergonomic or easy to use with one hand.
On the right, there is a power button and volume rocker, while on the bottom, there is a 3.5mm socket, a single microphone, a micro USB 2.0 connection, and the speaker grille. On the left side, there is a triple card slot that supports two 4G SIM cards and a microSD card.

Display
As promised, the Infinix Hot 11 Play has a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1640 pixel resolution. Additionally, the Infinix Hot 11 Play is equipped with an Octa-core CPU, which enables seamless multitasking while accessing several programs.
Additionally, following its launch, the smartphone will be available in a range of storage capacities. This degree of accessibility lets you store local files, photos, movies, music, and other material without regard for space constraints.
However, the lack of Widevine L1 implies that customers will continue to be unable to stream Netflix and other Full HD services, but that is a software problem that will be explored later in this article.
Read Oppo Find N Review: What’s special about it?
The combination of a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling results in a phone that performs deceptively smoothly, almost deceiving consumers into believing they are using a cheap phone.
Rear Cameras
The smartphone's rear panel has a circular twin camera setup with a 13MP main sensor and either an AI lens or a VGA sensor. On the other hand, the Realme 8i has a 50MP main sensor and is somewhat costlier than the Infinix Hot 11 Play.
The Infinix Hot 11 Play's rear camera has a variety of settings, including an AI Camera, Super Night, Beauty, Short Video, and powerful HDR. When it comes to the rear camera's performance, the smartphone manufacturer did an excellent job, as it takes decent shots at night when using the Super night mode and clear and detailed images during the day. In a nutshell, the back camera captures photos that are vibrant and clear.

Front Lens
To begin, consumers will get a 13MP selfie camera, which is adequate for most situations but falls short in low light. However, it's a little frustrating that a smartphone in this price range cannot take outstanding selfies. The business may improve the front camera on the phone to make it more usable. Additionally, the front camera has many modes, including augmented reality, portrait, beauty, AI Cam, and a short video.
Performance and Software
The Infinix Hot 11 Play is powered by a MediaTek MT6765G Helio G35 CPU. The Infinix Hot 11 Play is the third smartphone to have the same CPU, after the Infinix Hot 11S and the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime.
The smartphone works well while multitasking, with no noticeable latency when playing high-end games or streaming movies. While downloading and playing high-end games such as Call of Duty took less than five minutes, we noticed major heating concerns after an hour of use.

Battery and Charger
The Infinix Hot 11 Play has a 6,000 mAh battery and an easy-to-use 10W charging port. The enormous battery charges completely in an hour and provides two days of backup with moderate usage or 24 hours with intensive use.
Furthermore, the smartphone doesn't have battery-saving functions like Ultra Power and Power Boost. However, the Infinix Hot 11 Play will not disappoint in this aspect as the battery size is huge. Additionally, when the smartphone reaches 100 percent charge, it turns off automatically.

Price of Infinix Hot 11 Play in Bangladesh
The Infinix Hot 11 Play is available in Bangladesh and can be found in two different variants. The official price is BDT 11,490 for the 4/64 GB variant and BDT 12,490 for the 4/128 GB one.
Verdict
The Infinix Hot 11 Play is a powerful handset that will almost surely face stiff competition from phones with dual storage, a superfast battery charger, expandable memory up to 512GB, and four rear cameras. Infinix Hot 11 Play, on the other hand, comes with a 6,000 mAh battery, 256GB expandable memory, and a triple camera arrangement.

However, when pricing is considered, the Infinix Hot 11 Play is reasonable and may be called an exceptional smartphone owing to its several helpful features such as a large battery, a gorgeous design, and a 13MP camera.
Infinix Hot 12 5g: What will it offer?
Infinix is gearing up to introduce the new Infinix Hot 12 5G in 2022. According to the leaks and rumors, Infinix will bring sheer volume of improvements iin this latest phone. Lets have a look to the features of the upcomimg Infinix Phone Hot 12 5G.
Key Features of Infinix Hot 12 5G
Design
The Hot 12 5G will be completely made of plastic. According to leaks, it will not have the same type of glossy as prior Infinix smartphones. It will bear a thinner body with a premium look. It will not smear or scrape easily, which would be a huge advantage in this area. While the novel wavy gradient design is unusual, the fans are expecting that Infinix will release an entirely new style in the near future.
Read MIUI 13 Review: Major Updates, Key Features and Compatible Phones
To be fair, this phone will be distinguished from prior Infinix phones by a novel camera design. The camera module will not protrude from the body, and the phone itself will not be excessively thick. The rumor says the phone will have a single lens setup on the rear.
Having said that, the phone will not be light, weighing in at more than 180 grams. Still it is not sure whether it's the device's width or the way the back curves towards the sides. It is assumed that this phone will not be very ergonomic or comfortable to use with one hand.
The power button and volume rocker will be located on the right, while the bottom has a 3.5mm socket, the lone microphone, a Type-C connection, and the speaker grille. On the left there will be a triple card slot capable of accepting two 4G SIM cards and a microSD card.

MIUI 13 Review: Major Updates, Key Features and Compatible Phones
According to Xiaomi's official MIUI 13 release schedule, the stable version will begin seeding in late January. The freshly released Xiaomi 12 series phones will get the upgrade next month but will not ship with the build. This contradicts early predictions from Xiaomi that its flagship phones will launch with MIUI 13. MIUI 13 promotional material makes some bold promises about app enhancements over MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
Key Features of MIUI 13
Xiaomi has announced the official release of the MIUI 13 Custom Android skin. It claims to enhance the system's reliability and performance, while the fresh generation of MIUI saw little modifications. The business enhanced its privacy protections and added new backgrounds, fonts, and widgets. Interestingly, Xiaomi has posted the official MIUI 13 release schedule, which details when the stable version will begin seeding.
Here are all the features MIUI is coming with:
Performance
Xiaomi is emphasizing how much more reliable and responsive MIUI 13 is in comparison to version 12.5. Xiaomi's promises for stability on the flagship, mid-range, and budget smartphones are summarized in the figure below. Xiaomi measures this by the number of frames lost in popular applications.

Xiaomi claims that the current version of MIUI results in a 15% reduction in lost frames on its flagships. Meanwhile, mid-range models experienced a reduction of up to 32% in drop rates, while budget models saw a reduction of up to 52% in drop rates. Obviously, this data comes from phones operating at maximum capacity, and hence real-world results may differ dramatically from these claims.
Individuals who like having many applications open at the same time should be pleased with MIUI 13's upgrades. Xiaomi states that the Mi Mix 4 running MIUI 13 has 14 applications open. In comparison, the Huawei P50 and Oppo Find X3 Pro each had a maximum of 13, nine, and five applications.
Security Enhancements
In our connected society, security is becoming more vital. Xiaomi recognizes this and has included a number of security enhancements with MIUI 13.
