RAB arrests 2 ‘JMB members’ in Savar
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two suspected members of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Ulail and Ashulia areas in Savar early Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Ahsan Habib, 27, and Alamgir, 27.
A team of RAB-3 arrested the duo after conducting a drive in Ulail and Ashulia’s Pukurpar areas of Savar in the morning, said Saiful Islam, Officer in Charge of Savar Model Police Station (Investigation).
The elite force members also seized several books on militancy and leaflets on extremist ideology.
A case was filed at Savar Model Police Station in this connection.
