Moulavibazar, Sept 5 (UNB) – Former MP and Moulavibazar district BNP president M Naser Rahman has been granted bail in a case filed over assault on police on Thursday.
Moulavibazar District and Sessions’ Judge Md Abu Taher granted the bail after Naser appeared before the court seeking bail.
Public prosecutor SM Azazur Rahman was on the state side while advocate Mamunur Rashid, Advocate Abed Raza, Mujibur Rahman and advocate Mizanur Rahman defensed the prosecution for the plaintiff.
117 people were shown accused in the chargesheet of the case, out of who 88 got bail earlier and remaining 29 went into hiding after the incident. Naser was the accused no. 7, sources said.
