The government has allowed the plying of vehicles and opening of shops with conditionas that the health guidelines are maintained. Members of the law enforcement agencies are working with the field administration to implement the government's directives.
The DMP on Thursday conducted raids across the capital and fined 12 organisations, 12 vehicles and 102 people for not following proper health rules, said DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Md Walid Hossain.
During the time, six motorcycles were fined Tk 1,000 under Ramna division, while six shops and nine persons were fined Tk 10,400 under Motijheel division.
Twenty five persons were fined Tk 5,700 under Gulshan division and 17 persons were fined Tk 4,300.
Besides, DMP's mobile court also fined six shops, 51 people and six vehicles a total of Tk 21,400 on charge of violating the health guidelines during the period.
