The Indian Minister will attend the second South Asia Maritime and Logistics Forum (SAMLF) on Tuesday afternoon.
It will be held under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Shipping of Bangladesh in association with Gateway Media (Pvt) Ltd of India and Colombo International Maritime Conference Event (CIMC) of Sri Lanka.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the event in a city hotel at 4pm, said an official.
High officials of 20 countries including India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal will attend the programme.
The Indian Minister will also visit Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 11am on Tuesday to pay tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He will alao visit Dhakeshwari Temple at 9:45 am on the same day.
