President Abdul Hamid on Sunday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of chief coordinator of the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) and valiant freedom fighter Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan.
In a condolence message , Hamid said, “Khan played a key role in the investigation of different historic cases including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder, jail killings and war crimes trial cases.”
He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
He was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka with various health complications .
He breathed his last at the hospital around 12:45pm.
