Dhaka, Sept 25 (UNB) - The process of displaying the portraits of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in courtrooms across the country started on Wednesday following a High Court order.
The Law Ministry also issued a notice in this regard on September 23.
Special Officer of the High Court Division Barrister Saifur Rahman said they have already collected 100 portraits of Bangabandhu from the Information Ministry and shortly it will be displayed at different courtrooms.
After hearing a writ petition filed by Supreme Court lawyer Subir Nandi Das, the High Court on August 2 issued an order to display the portraits of Bangabandhu in all courtrooms within two months.
