“Light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions,” the Met Office said.
Some places might see moderately heavy to heavy falls.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the BMD said.
The well-marked low over North West Bay and adjoining area now lies over Bihar and its adjoining area. The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, the centre of well-marked low thence Northeastwards to Assam across Gangetic West Bengal and the central part of Bangladesh.

One of its associated troughs extends up to the North Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and strong over the North Bay.
Bangladesh’s highest temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and lowest 24C at Teknaf.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded at 50 millimeters at Teknaf.
