Grameenphone and BRAC have launched the 'Dakche Amar Desh' programme to help most vulnerable and affected families amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
In current phase, Dakche Amar Desh will support 50,000 vulnerable families by providing emergency food assistance.
AB Bank, Aamra Networks, Edison Group, Epyllion Group, Radio Bhumi also joined the initiative, said a press release.
Yasir Azman GP CEO said "We believe together, we can reach the maximum people who need help during this unprecedented difficult time."
Executive Director of BRAC, Asif Saleh, said "We need more individuals and private sector partners to come forward, enabling us to increase the support interventions further."
Initially, Brac has supported 200,000 and Grameenphone supported 100,000 families under the 'Dakche Amar Desh' initiative.
