The first edition of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup is underway. The group stage of the World Cup has already ended, and the super six rounds started on January 21 and will finish on January 25. Out of the 16 teams, 12 teams qualified for the next stages. These 12 teams are divided into two groups. And they will fight to proceed to the semifinals. ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup: Super Six Stage Group 1 Preview
The top three point holders of Group A and Group D will compete for the semifinal in Super Six group 1. The six teams are India, Bangladesh, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates. On the other hand, The Australian team faced a surprising defeat against Bangladesh in the tournament’s opening match. However, they quickly rebounded by winning consecutive games, earning second place in the standings with four points and a net run rate of +3.015. They now face a challenging task as they go up against a well-performed Indian squad in their first match of the Super Six stage. But, the match will surely be competitive as both teams have some talented batters and bowlers.
Bangladesh vs South Africa: January 21
Bangladesh entered the Super Six after beating Australia, Sri Lanka, and the United States with a burst of self-confidence in batting, bowling, fielding, and body language. The next opponent today is South Africa. The game will start at 5:45 PM Bangladesh time at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. India vs Sri Lanka: January 22
This match will take place on January 22 at 5:45 PM Bangladesh time at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. India is a top favorite of this Women’s U19 World Cup. As per their group stage performance, it is expected that they will reach the semifinal without any obstacles. India’s tremendous batting and bowling lineup have the capability to beat Sri Lanka.
However, Sri Lanka’s batting lineup is comparatively weaker than India’s. Out of their three-group stage matches, Sri Lanka has won only one match, that too against the USA. So, there is a great chance that India’s U 19 Women will dominate over Sri Lanka.
United Arab Emirates vs Australia: January 23
UAE and Australia will meet on January 23 at Senwes Park. Comparing their recent performance, Australia won three matches in the last five matches. On the other hand, UAE won only one match, which was their first World Cup match against Scotland. So, it is predictable that UAE has little chance of beating Australia.

Australia has been having a good run in the World Cup except for the only loss against Bangladesh. Other than that, Australia has a good bowling lineup. As we have seen, they destroyed Sri Lanka and all out in 51 runs. Also, they stopped the USA in 64 runs. So, Australia will surely beat the UAE.
South Africa vs Sri Lanka: January 24
This will be the second match for both teams. Regardless of their Super Six’s first-match performance, it can be said that South Africa’s winning chance is great here. South African bowlers such as Miane Smit and Madison Landsman may make it difficult for Sri Lanka to have a big score.
United Arab Emirates vs Bangladesh: January 25
UAE reached the Super Six stage with a win against Scotland. And the team has lost the other two matches against India and South Africa. Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup: Super Six Stage Group 2 Preview
The top three teams of Group B and Group C will compete for the semifinal in Super Six group 1. The six teams are New Zealand, England, Pakistan, West Indies, Ireland, and Rwanda. All the Group 2 matches will start at 1:45 PM local time in South Africa except the January 21 matches. The Group 2 matches on January 21 will begin at 10 AM local time in South Africa or 2 PM Bangladesh time.
Rwanda vs New Zealand: January 21
As expected, New Zealand has stopped Rwanda from under a hundred runs. Rwanda scored 96 runs in 20 overs, losing 7 wickets. On the other hand, New Zealand scored 99 runs in 16.1 overs and with the match by f wickets. So, it is an easy win for New Zealand.
Ireland vs England: January 21
While writing this article, Ireland vs England match was underway. And England earned a big score of 207 runs by losing only two wickets. Grace Scrivens scored 93 runs in 56 balls. It was expected that England would win the match with a big difference. The English team won the match by 121 runs as they stopped Ireland by 86 runs.

West Indies vs Rwanda: January 22
In their group stage, West Indies had some big innings against Ireland and Indonesia. However, they had a poor performance against New Zealand, and West Indies became all out in 19.2 overs and scored 68 runs only.
So, given the fact that the West Indies can perform well against a weaker team. Hence, They have a huge chance to win with a big difference against Rwanda.
Pakistan vs Ireland: January 23
Pakistan reached the Super Six by winning two games in their group stage. On the other hand, Ireland was in third place in group C. Pakistan’s only loss came against England. But they got an easy win against Zimbabwe and a competitive win against Rwanda.
