In the opening match, Jamalpur Sports Academy beat Naogaon District Sports Association by 22-15 goals after leading the first half by 14-5 goals.
In the day's other matches, Faridpur District Sports Association defeated Handball Training Center Dhaka by 26-14 goals after dominating the first half by 14-4 goals.
And Tetulia Upazilla Sports Association beat Jashore Sports Association by 35-17 after leading the first half by 20-4 goals.
The Daily Sun Editor Enamul Haque Chowdhury inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
The competition's sponsor Walton Group's Executive Director FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and Zahirul Islam Tutul, Radio Today's head of program development, were also present as the special guests.
