The Rohingya repatriation issue will be prominently discussed with Cambodia when a delegation of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will visit the Asean country.
Committee Chairman and former commerce minister Faruk Khan is leading the delegation. It is scheduled to leave Dhaka on Sunday and return home January 8, said a press release.
Bangladesh is now hosting over 1.1 million Rohingyas and most of them entered the country after August 2017 amid military crackdowns against the mainly-Muslim ethnic minority in the Rakhine State.
Bangladesh remains engaged bilaterally and multilaterally to resolve the crisis in a peaceful manner.
