Narayanganj, Oct 27 (UNB) – The train communications on Dhaka-Narayanganj route remained suspended for five hours since Sunday afternoon following derailment of a bogie of Diesel electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) train at Pagla in Fatullah area on Sunday.
Golam Mostafa, station master of Narayanganj Rail Station said four wheels of a bogie of Narayanganj-bound Demu train (Narayanganj Commuter-4) veered off the tracks around 2 pm, halting train movements on the route.
However, no causality was reported.
Mohamamd Ali Akbar, sub-inspector of Narayanganj Station police camp, said a relief train from Dhaka left for the spot.
