The ministry issued an office order in this regard on Tuesday, according to a press release.
The control room was set up at the Department of Livestock Services in the city’s Farmgate area and the hotline number is 02-9122557.
An official of the ministry has been tasked with performing the role of chief coordinator of the control room.
Besides, instructions have been given to the concerned departments to appoint one officer each from the Fisheries Department and Livestock Services Department at the control room daily.
An assistant director of the Department of Livestock services has been given the responsibility of overall cooperation of the aforesaid work.
On April 4, the ministry opened the control room to address the crisis in the country’s fisheries and livestock sectors due to the coronavirus outbreak.
So far, more than 500 problems in the fisheries and livestock sector have been solved immediately through the control room, the ministry said.
