A fire that broke out at Great Wall Shopping Center in the city's Sadarghat on Friday evening has been brought under control, the fire service said.
On information, six firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 9:15 pm which started around 8 pm, said Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director (media cell) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.

However, no casualty was reported, he said, adding that the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
