China's home game against South Korea in the second leg of the Women's Olympic Football Tournament Tokyo 2020 Asian qualifiers final round playoff will be played in Australia, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said on Friday.
After consultation with the Chinese Football Association (CFA) and the Football Federation Australia (FFA), the AFC confirmed that the second-leg match scheduled for March 11, 2020 will take place at the Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney, Australia.
China played their final round group stage matches at the same venue, ranking second in the group behind hosts Australia.
China will begin the playoff campaign by traveling to South Korea for the first-leg on March 6, 2020 at the Yongin Citizens Sports Park, AFC said.
The winners of the two-legged play-off will seal their place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, alongside hosts Japan and the winners of the other play-off match, which sees Australia take on Vietnam.
