Top Smartphones Being Released in April 2024: A Mix of Flagship, Midrange and Budget Options
After an exciting March release schedule, smartphone enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to in April as well. March saw most of the releases at MWC. The story would be more or less the same in April as well as Chinese releases in the previous months will have their global debut in April. With that said, here’s a list of the most anticipated smartphones to be released in April 2024.
Most Hyped Smartphones Releasing This April
OnePlus Nord CE4
The Nord CE from OnePlus has been the budget lineup of the brand for several years now. The Nord CE phones bring exceptional value for money like an ode to OnePlus’s early days.
We already have official renders of the new Nord CE4 on OnePlus India’s official website. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with 1240 by 2772 resolution, 451 ppi density, 120 Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ support.
The processor will be an octa-core Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 based on the 4 Nm architecture coupled with Adreno 732 GPU. Users will be getting micro SDXC support along with 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB RAM configurations.

The back will feature two cameras with the main one being a 50 MP f/1.8 shooter. The second camera is rumored to be an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. The front will feature a usual 16 MP sensor.
We don’t have an exact release date as of yet, but based on rumors, it is expected to be sometime in mid-April.
OnePlus Nord 4
Another smartphone from OnePlus that’s expected to hit the international market is the OnePlus Nord 4. The Nord 4 will be the global variant of the already announced OnePlus Ace 3V.
By all accounts, the Nord 4 will share a lot of similarities with the CE4. But the former will have certain features to justify its higher price.

Unlike the CE4, the Nord 4 will come with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. It will also have IP65 water and dust resistance. The Nord 4 will unfortunately miss out on the extendable storage option. The rest of the configuration is expected to be the same as of now.
Samsung Galaxy M15
Samsung is gearing up with their budget and mid-range lineup in April. The first of the M series smartphones to hit the market would be the budget Galaxy M15.
The M15 will feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 800 nits HBM, and 1080 by 2340 resolutions. The 19.5:9 aspect ratio will boast 396 ppi density.
On the processor end, users will be getting the entry-level MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ based on a 6 Nm architecture. The octa-core processor has a chip design of 2x2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. The smartphone will come in 4/128 GB, 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB storage configurations.

There’s a triple camera setup on the M15 with the main sensor being a 50 MP f/1.8 shooter. The additional sensors are a 5 MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens. The front will feature a 13 MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.
The expected release date of the Galaxy M15 is sometime in mid-April.
Samsung Galaxy M55
There’s a hard rumor going around about the new Galaxy M55. The initial idea that the M55 would mirror the A55 has been quelled thanks to a series of new leaks.
The M55 will feature a 6.7-inch screen with Super AMOLED tech onboard. That means a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1000 nits HBM is on the cards.

The Exynos 1480 found on the A55 would be replaced by a rather old Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 on the M55. The storage options will be either 128 GB or 256 GB with an extension of up to 1 TB.
The camera remains more or less the same with reduced ultrawide and macro capabilities and an enhanced selfie camera compared to the A55.
The Galaxy M55 will go live sometime in late April.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro
Motorola is gearing up with its flagship release of the year, the Edge 50 Pro.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor. It’s an underclocked version of this year’s flagship 8 Gen 3. The smartphone is absolutely stacked in terms of storage as users will be getting options of up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.

The display on the Edge 50 Pro is rumored to be a 6.7-inch FHD AMOLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will also feature a triple camera setup with the main camera tipped to be a 50 MP one.
The official India launch date of the Edge 50 Pro is set on 3rd April.
realme GT 5 Pro
Even though the realme GT5 Pro had its official launch last December, it didn’t make its global debut. Words coming from China indicate that things are about to change as the GT5 Pro may make its global debut sometime in April.
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm processor with storage options going up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB internal.

As for the display, the GT5 Pro has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 1B colors, 144 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support with 1264 by 2780 resolutions.
The triple camera setup features a 50 MP f/1.7 main shooter, a 50 MP f/2.6 periscope lens, and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens. The front camera is a 32 MP f/2.5 selfie shooter. For more on the GT5 Pro, check out the in-depth review.
Infinix Note 40 Pro+
Infinix Note 40 Pro+ will make its global debut sometime in late April. The news comes after the smartphone had its official Chinese release on 18th March 2024.
The Note 40 Pro+ will be powered by the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 7020 based on a 6 Nm architecture. The storage configuration comes in a single 12/256 GB option.

The display on the Note 40 Pro+ is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080 by 2436 resolution.
The camera on the Note 40 Pro+ is its key selling point. The main sensor is a 108 MP f/1.8 sensor with both PDAF and OIS. The additional sensors are two 2 MP depth and a macro shooter. The front features a 32 MP f/2.2 sensor.
Tecno Pova 6 Pro
And the last one on the list is the Tecno Pova 6 Pro slated to launch in mid-April. The news comes after the device was officially announced in February this year.
Tecno Pova 6 Pro is expected to be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 6080 based on 6 nm architecture. The storage option on the device will go up to 256 GB internal and 12 GB of RAM.

The display on the Pova 6 Pro will be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution featuring 1080 by 2436 pixels, and 1300 nits of peak brightness.
Pova 6 Pro will feature a triple camera setup. However, users will have the 108 MP f/1.9 main sensor only to work with, in principle. The additional rear sensors are a 2 MP depth sensor and a 0.08 MP auxiliary sensor. It also has a 32 f/2.2 MP selfie shooter.
Final Words
April 2024 is lined up with a lot of exciting smartphone releases ranging from flagships to mid-range to budget-friendly segments. Most of the releases have already been launched in the Chinese market as it always gets the exclusive first release from most local brands. Nonetheless, users will be getting a lot of choices in terms of price and performance match.

OnePlus 12 Review: Fastest Android Experience?
OnePlus has long since passed its prime from being the “flagship killer” in the Android space. It slowly shifted from offering value-for-money smartphones to full-on flagships with secondary mid-range iterations. OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12 on December 11, 2023, making it the last big release of 2023. But with all that it has under the belt, OnePlus is aiming for the fastest Android experience in 2024.
Key Specifications of OnePlus 12
Design and Build Quality: Same Old Design with a Dash of Character
By all means, the OnePlus 12 looks exactly the same as its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. The merging round camera housing and all sides curved front reminisce the somewhat iconic design introduced with the OnePlus 10. The front glass features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with the rear featuring standard Gorilla Glass. The back now has a marble-like finish with a glossy inlay on the camera housing.
The device comes in at 164.3 mm by 75.8 mm by 9.2 mm and has a hefty weight of 220g. Ports and buttons are all standard as usual. The power button, volume rockers, sim slot, and alert slider are all placed in their desired position. The phone comes with IP65 water and dustproofing rather than the standard IP68 seen on most flagship smartphones. In a sense, the design of the OnePlus 12 adds a minor refinement over their proven strategy.

The Display: A New Standard for Brightness
OnePlus has recently been marred with green line controversies on its panel. And it seems like OnePlus has decided to completely overhaul the display tech with the OnePlus 12. The 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED ProXDR panel comes with 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. OnePlus has used a diamond pixel layout compared to the traditional square layout. It has a 1440 by 3168 pixels resolution with 510 ppi density and a 19.8:9 aspect ratio. The all-around curve gives the panel about 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display also supports 100% Display P3 and 10-bit color depth.
What’s interesting here is the brightness of the panel. The typical brightness holds at 600 nits and up to 1600 nits at HBM. But the panel can crank up to 4500 nits in peak mode. That’s more than any smartphone out there in the market by a long mile. And its something that won’t be exercised even in the harshest sunlight. On the flip side, the panel supports 2160 Hz PWM dimming for ultra-low brightness for nighttime use. All things considered, the display is definitely a highlight for the OnePlus 12.

The Camera: Same Old OnePlus
The camera has consistently been a point of contention with OnePlus smartphones. And unfortunately, things haven’t really changed much. There’s a triple camera setup on the OnePlus 12 with the main camera being an updated 50 MP sensor. It has an f/1.6 aperture and a 23mm wide-angle opening. The additional sensors are a 64 MP, f/2.6, 70mm periscope lens with up to 3x zoom and a 48 MP, f/2.2, 14mm, 114˚ ultrawide shooter. The front camera is a 32 MP, f/2.4, 21mm wide-angle shooter.
All the sensors are stacked with features like multidirectional PDAF, OIS, and gyro-EIS. OnePlus has been partnering with Hasselblad for a customized color calibration. The pictures on the OnePlus 12 can be best described as slightly better than that of the 11 with somewhat similar flaws. Images have slight exposure issues with an average dynamic range. The camera is also post-processing heavy to the point that what you see on the screen grossly differs from what’s processed after the shutter click.
The videography of the rear cameras stay the same at 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240/480fps. The selfie shooter can capture a maximum of 4K footage at 30fps. However, the exposure issue and low light videography leaves much to be desired from the Oneplus 12.

Nothing Phone 2 Review: Can it outperform its predecessor?
Back in the day, Carl Pei challenged the status quo of flagship smartphones with his revolutionary OnePlus One. Fast forward 9 years and Carl has moved on from OnePlus and founded Nothing, no pun intended. With Nothing too, Carl wanted to disrupt the existing smartphone ideas. To that end, the company just announced the Nothing Phone 2, a successor to their Nothing Phone 1 released last year. So how is it as a device? What new features does it bring? Or is it just “nothing”? Let’s find out.
Key Specifications of Nothing Phone 2
Design and Build Quality
Those who are familiar with the Nothing Phone 1 would feel comfortable with the Phone 2. For a brand that brought a completely fresh design element with the Nothing Phone 1 has remarkably stayed true to the original design language.
Experts claim that this could be due to brand establishment needs. Nothing is a completely new player in the smartphone industry. So going for a drastically different design in just the second iteration would negate the brand establishment prospects.

Regardless, there are a few new things on the Phone 2. The most striking change is in the colour. The black variant of the Phone 1 has been replaced with a light grey colour which pops the clear back design more prominently. The clear back design has also been subtly tweaked to give a more polished and minimal look.
Dimension-wise, the Phone 2 is a tad bigger and heavier at 162.1mm by 76.4mm by 8.6mm and 201.2 gm respectively. The front and back of the device are glass with Corning Gorilla Glass protection with an aluminium frame in between.
The front camera has been moved from the side to the centre now. The uniform front bezel has also been reduced a bit to allow for an 87.2% screen-to-body ratio. It's not the best in the market, but the uniform distribution makes it look much slicker than most other smartphones at this price point. The usual ports and buttons are all in the same place as Phone 1 with no headphone or card slot, unfortunately.

Nothing has also upgraded the dust and water resistance from IP53 to IP54. Overall, the design element of the Phone 2 has slightly changed from the Phone 1. This has split the opinion of many. But as a brand, the choice of Nothing to stay with a similar design will only help to solidify their brand.
The Glyph Interface
The glyph interface has been one of the highlights of Phone 1. Simply because no phone before has incorporated such design elements. You can read more about the glyph interface in our original Phone 1 review. Not much has changed since then except for a few additional tweaks here and there.
The two most noticeable changes are in the red LED indicator and the centre strip. The video recording indicator has now been stretched to the edge instead of being a blinking dot. The centre strip has also been broken down into six separate pieces.

Nothing has brought some new functionalities to the glyph interface. The glyph on the top left will work as a priority notification indicator. It can also work as an indicator for car or food delivery ETA (available for Uber and Zomato on an experimental basis).
Users can now compose their own notification sound complete with glyph animations which is like another gimmick. In essence, barring a few useful additions, the glyph interface still remains a novelty trinket to have on a smartphone.
The Display
The display on the Phone 2 is a 6.7 inches LTPO OLED display with an 1080 by 2412 Pixels of resolution, 1 B colours, HDR10+ support, and a bumped-up 120 Hz refresh rate. The display has a 394 ppi density because of the uniform panel alignment. It was expected that the Phone 1 would feature a higher resolution panel but that didn’t turn out to be the case.

Regardless, the FHD+ panel still looks excellent as ever with 1600 nits HBM and a higher refresh rate. The uniform flat display alleviates the overall design aesthetic of the Phone 2. It almost feels like using an iPhone with Android OS.
The panel has excellent viewing angles and good color calibration. Overall, the display is easily one of the key strong points of the Phone 2.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G Review: What’s special about it?
OnePlus Technology, the subsidiary of OPPO, has steadily expanded to include midrange and budget devices in its product line. The Nord CE series were the perfect mid-range with the Lite being their budget offering. This year, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G was released on April 11 2023 in China with a subsequent global release. The CE 3 Lite successes the CE 2 Lite with some interesting developments. Let’s have a look.
Key Features of OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite
Design and Build Quality
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is a through-and-through budget device. The build material may reflect on that but rest assured, the CE 3 Lite is a well-built hefty device at 195 gm. The phone has a glass front, plastic frame, and back with a glossy finish to emulate the glass-back design. The front glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Nord CE 3 Lite moves away from the design elements of its predecessor, the CE 2 Lite. Instead of dual tone back with a separate camera housing, users will be getting a flush glossy back with two protruding camera sensors, much like the iPhone 12.

However, the quirk is somewhere else. Users would be surprised to see that even though there are two camera cutouts on the back, the official spec sheet mentions triple camera setup. That is because one of the camera cutouts, specifically the bottom one, houses two camera sensors. It’s a unique design choice that helps to keep things minimal at the back.
Coming to ports and buttons, the volume rocker and the sim tray are situated on the left of the device with the power button being on the right. The power button also doubles as the fingerprint scanner on the Nord CE 3 Lite.
Being a budget device, the headphone jack is also present on the CE 3 Lite, right beside the Type C charging port. A single-firing speaker also finds its place at the bottom. The top of the device is flush with just the secondary noise cancellation mic for better call clarity.

Overall, the design is a slight move towards minimalism from the CE 2 Lite. Whether that is a good thing or bad remains subjective.
Display
The display on the Nord CE 3 Lite is an IPS LCD one. The choice of LCD panel is understandable given the budget it comes at. However, the lack of an AMOLED panel is somewhat made up by the 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The panel boasts around 550 nits of typical brightness with 680 nits of HBM. Though these aren’t industry-leading stats in any way, it's still decent for its price.
Speaking of quality, the panel is exactly as you’d expect LCDs to be. The blacks aren’t deep black and there are some color shifts in extreme angles. Other than that, the smooth scrolling and accurate color recreation make for a compelling and interactive experience.

Camera
The Nord CE 3 Lite features three cameras on the back. The main camera is a whooping 108 MP one with the complementing two sensors being a 2 MP macro and depth sensor. It’s clear that the 108 MP sensor is the key player here as it will be doing all the heavy lifting.
OnePlus 11 Review: Speed and Performance at the Core
OnePlus is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer renowned for its flagship devices that offer flagship-level specs at an affordable price. Their latest offering, the OnePlus 11 was released in China on January 4, 2023. It is going to be launched on February 7 in the global market. Let’s see the specs, and price of the OnePlus 11.
Key Features of OnePlus 11
Design and Display
For its newest flagship phone, OnePlus has taken a different approach to the design. This time, the phone has a circular camera block in the top left corner, giving it a fresh, modern look. The front of the device resembles the OnePlus 10 Pro with a left-corner punch-hole camera and curved display edges.
Compared to the OnePlus 10T, which had a flat display and centered punch-hole, the OnePlus 11 has a sleeker and more modern design. Published images from OnePlus, as well as unofficial renders from OnLeaks confirm this new design. The official photos indicate that the phone will come in two different colors: green and black. This is sure to be a great addition to the OnePlus lineup!

The OnePlus 11 has a unique design that is said to be inspired by black holes. It has a circular stainless steel camera module and a glass back in either black or green, as well as a metal frame with a punch-hole camera on the screen.
Measuring 163.1mm x 74.1mm x 8.53mm and weighing 205g, the OnePlus 11 sports a 6.7-inch, 120Hz 1440 x 3216 fluid AMOLED display with 525 pixels per inch and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. This display is similar to the one its predecessor had. Not to mention, the phone is equipped with the company’s signature alert slider.
This display has adjustable refresh rate capabilities, ranging between 1Hz to 120Hz. This is especially useful when using the always-on display feature, which does not require a high refresh rate. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, making it incredibly resilient.

Cameras
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will feature Hasselblad-tuned cameras, with four sensors in total. On the rear, there is a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP 2x telephoto lens.
The front camera is a 16MP selfie snapper. Three out of four of the sensors are the same as what we saw on the OnePlus 10 Pro, but OnePlus 11 have been upgraded to the newest Sony models. The telephoto lens, or portrait lens as OnePlus calls it, is a totally new addition.
It is unfortunate that the new zoom camera has dropped its zoom level from 3.3x to 2x. Nevertheless, its 32MP resolution should deliver a much higher quality image. Unlike the OnePlus 10 Pro, there is no indication of a fourth miscellaneous rear camera, which is a relief considering that these sensors failed to capture our attention on earlier OnePlus models.

The OnePlus 8 Pro had a photochromic mode camera that allowed users to take photos with an unusual filter, while the OnePlus 9 Pro included a specific monochrome camera to capture black-and-white shots.
Now you can capture your most stunning moments with the incredible video and photo resolution capabilities of this device. The rear camera can record videos in up to 8K resolution at 24 frames per second or in up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the selfie camera features 16 megapixels and a maximum aperture of f/2.4.
Hardware and Performance
The highly anticipated OnePlus 11 is set to be a powerhouse, equipped with the 2nd generation Snapdragon 8 chipset that provides an impressive 35% CPU performance boost and a 25% GPU boost. This is coupled with energy efficiency improvements, allowing users to get more out of the battery life.

On top of that, the device features a generous 12GB or 16GB of RAM, accompanied by an advanced RAM management system to ensure optimal performance even when multitasking or gaming.
The OnePlus 11 offers two storage options: 256GB or 512GB. It runs on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 (International) and ColorOS 13 (China) and also features a fingerprint sensor.
In addition, OnePlus has pledged to support this device for a long time, as they have declared to provide four major Android updates and five years of security patches for “select devices launched in 2023 and beyond”. Although the OnePlus 11 has yet to be officially named, it is likely to be one of the devices eligible for the abovementioned support.

Battery and Charging
The OnePlus 11 boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging, allowing for a full charge in just 25 minutes. Compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro, this is an upgrade from the 80W charging speed in the US and 65W elsewhere. Leaks indicate that the US version of the OnePlus 11 will probably have a slower 80W charging speed.
OnePlus 11’s Official Price in China
OnePlus 11 has three different versions, 12GB + 256GB which will cost 3,999 Chinese Yen or Tk. 62,5592 (1 Chinese Yen= Tk. 15.64); 16GB + 256 GB for 4,399 Chinese Yen or Tk. 68,801 (1 Chinese Yen= Tk. 15.64) and 16GB + 512 GB for 4,899 Chinese Yen or Tk. 76,621.38 (1 Chinese Yen= Tk. 15.64).

It won't be overwhelming to say that the OnePlus 11 is designed for power and speed, making it a great choice for gaming and other demanding tasks. It also features a range of improvements to the camera, though it does not have a long-range zoom lens. Despite this, it has shown to be very capable in a variety of conditions, especially for portrait shots. In 2023, it looks set to be one of the best choices for users who value speed and performance.

The 1 billion display colors, gyro, acetometer, and proximity with color spectrum all make this phone perfect for any gamer. However, OnePlus is also bringing a game-centric customized phone in October to provide an exclusive gaming experience.

Few Drawbacks of Oneplus Ace Pro
Like any other device, the Oneplus Ace Pro has some limitations.
There is no card slot for memory expansion on the OnePlus Ace Pro. It weighs 203.5 g (7.20 oz), is a little heavy, and lacks a 3.5 mm jack. It lacks an FM radio, a barometer, a temperature sensor, and other features. It only offers two colors Moonstone Black and Jade Green does not offer Infrared and is not dust- or water-resistant.
Final Words
Whether you are a pro gamer or a tech guy who needs to use different apps smoothly, the OnePlus Ace Pro is perfect for both users. In addition to that with the triple camera combination with a 16 MP selfie camera, the phone also holds the attention of photogenic people.

Ace Pro has no significant drawbacks. However, its weight can dishearten those who prefer lightweight phones. The provision of 3.5mm jacks and dust-water resistance could make it a better deal.
On the whole, if you are looking for a flagship phone with premium features at a considerable budget, the OnePlus Ace Pro is what you are looking for!
OnePlus Nord 2T Review: Know Pros, Cons
The OnePlus Nord series is known for its flagship-level specifications and sleek design. It features a unique design and differentiation from the other devices in the market. The phones are made with a focus on gaming, photography, and audio. While the series was first introduced in 2020, the company continues to add new phones to the series. Now they are releasing a new phone, the OnePlus Nord 2T, in its lineup. The phone was released on July 5 in India. Let's see the details of the Nord 2T and what we can expect from it.
Key Features of OnePlus Nord 2T
Design
The Nord 2 T's design is very similar to its predecessor Nord 2 5G. From the front, it is nearly impossible to tell the two telephones apart as the sides have the same glossy polycarbonate frame. However, you will see the difference on the back as Nord 2T has a larger camera with a big circular element. But the cameras are in the same place as the Nord 2. Nevertheless, the placement of the flash and ambient light sensor is different from Nord 2.
The back of the phone contains the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as the front part. But the texture is smoother, which makes the phone slippery.
Read Xiaomi 12 Pro Review: Is it a value for money flagship?
The phone comes with Jade Fog finish with a glossy back, which features a better grip. However, the Nord 2T is smaller in size compared to flagship phones. On the sides, the phone features a power button on the right and a volume rocker on the left. Buttons are located high on each side so that you can adjust your grip easily.
Display
Nord 2T comes with a 6.43-inch screen which features a 2400x1800 resolution AMOLED display. The display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Besides, it will also provide HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. Although OnePlus mentioned Display P3 support and sRGB, it doesn't offer any color management support. But you will be able to switch manually using the screen color mode setting. In this way, you can also change the color temperature.
While the display brightness is good for indoor use, the outdoor performance might be satisfactory for some users. However, the display has an excellent viewing angle.
Read Samsung Galaxy A04s: The coming soon budget killer phone
While most of the phones in 2022 offer a 120Hz refresh rate, Nord 2T comes with a 60Hz and 90Hz refresh rate. This may seem outdated to some users.
The good thing about the 2T display is that it offers a built-in optical fingerprint sensor.
Camera
Despite the lack of premium camera features, the OnePlus 2T model does not come with a poor-quality camera setup. It has a triple camera setup at the base that includes a 50-megapixel main, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor for black and white photographs.
Read Infinix Note 12 G96 Review: A Budget Phone With Top-Notch Features
The 50MP main camera includes optical image stabilization. It may perform less low light, but it manages to produce sharp and clear pictures. The pictures are clear and powerful, seeming under daylight, but there's a lot of graininess when the light decreases. The autofocus might not be great, but it does not affect the picture.
Further, the 8MP ultrawide sensor takes the finest photos, taking into account the amount of light and the depth of the subject you are photographing. In light conditions, the 2MP lens takes average photos.
The front-facing 32 MP selfie camera produces images that accurately depict natural skin tones. However, the subject and other details are secondary, but the colors are true. The selfie camera comes with a low noise feature while the videos remain crisp and smooth, with even less flicker and dimming.

You can record 4K videos at 3fps or 1080p at 60fps with OnePlus Nord 2T.
Software and Performance
OnePlus Nord 2T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. It doesn't seem to provide much improvement over Dimensity 1200 SoC as the processor cores and their clock frequencies remained identical. MediaTek swapped the Density 1200 SoC with HyperEngine 5 for superior gaming performance.
OnePlus has incorporated a Dimensity 1300 SoC chip with 12 gigabytes of LPDDR4X memory. It also offers 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. OnePlus One 2T uses Android 12 with Oxygen OS 12.1 as its operating system. This is an optimized version that runs smoothly and eliminates any unnecessary complications that may be present in other OS versions. The OS has a private safe for storing sensitive data and features comprehensive customization options. You can customize the software, so you are never left wanting to do more.

Oxygen OS 12.1 is a well-known choice for various phones, having previously been used on the OnePlus 10 Pro, Nord CE 2 Lite, and 10R. ColorOS 12 with an alternate design and should be encountered by anyone who has come from Oppo or realme.
Battery and Charging
The Nord 2T 5G has a dual-cell 4500mAh battery even in the newest generation, with 80W charging speeds, an improvement of 65W.
With the fast-charging capability, the Nord 2T 5G can draw the batteries back to full capacity in approximately 38 minutes and 98% in just 30 minutes. These numbers are more or less comparable to the ones using the 65W charger on the Nord 2T 5G.

Price of OnePlus Nord 2T Official
OnePlus offers 2 versions of the Nord 2T in India. The 8GB+128GB storage is priced at ₹28,999 or BDT 34066 (1 rupee= BDT 1.17) and 12GB+256GB is ₹33,999 or BDT 39940 (1 rupee= BDT 1.17). The official price of OnePlus Nord 2T in Bangladesh may vary depending on tax and other issues. The phone is not officially available in Bangladesh yet.
Final Words
OnePlus Nord 2T is an outstanding new edition to the OnePlus Nord 2 phone. It may not have a flashy design, but it does have its own pros. The phone has a fast processor, an outstanding display, speedy charging, and a layout that may make you nostalgic. The OnePlus Nord 2T mobile phone is rated IP52 and 5G ready, and it also has a tidy UI. The camera setup is not uniform, and the refresh is not quick, but these specs are negligible.
On the whole, OnePlus Nord 2T is a great choice if you are looking for an inexpensive phone capable of 5G connectivity.

OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G Review: Know its Pros, Cons
In 2022, OnePlus’s latest phone lineup seems to be improvising all the time. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is the latest in a long series of cheap phones that keep the low prices that OnePlus pioneered so many years ago. However, the Lite version of CE 2 lacks flagship-level features. The phone was officially released on 28th April 2022 in India and now available in Bangladesh. On the surface level, it seems to be a good phone with some outstanding features. Here's a more in-depth look at the phone.
Key Features of OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G
Design
When it comes to the appearance and general feel of the Nord CE 2 Lite, OnePlus has kept things rather basic. In fact, the Nord CE 2 Lite is on the verge of being pretty generic. The back of the phone is made of plastic, and despite its size, it measures just 8.5 millimeters in thickness.
The display is totally flat on the front, and it is joined to the rear of the phone by a curving metallic band that meets the back of the phone. The rear panel of this device is entirely made of plastic. The back panel has a matte finish in most areas, and contains the modest glossy OnePlus logo. Regrettably, the familiar notifications slider option on the OnePlus is not there in this iteration.

Alongside the typical-sized camera protrusion, the top of the phone has a minute accent design in the form of glossy stripes that provide the phone with some flair.
A hole-punch selfie on the front side completes everything. Users have to confess that they are quite unaffected by the phone's appearance, which is something that may cut both ways. If you aren't too concerned about fashion, it's not likely to stick out too much (at least in black), but some individuals may prefer it to have a little bit more genuine design going on.
However, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you do have some choices in this regard.

Display
The phone's display is certainly sizable and colors and vibrancy are solid, although since it's an LCD, you simply won't get the true blacks and depth of an OLED or AMOLED display.
Users will particularly be amazed that OnePlus has managed to shoehorn in a 120Hz refresh rate. This means that scrolling may be very smooth, and high frame rates are more rewarding while playing your game - the only difficulty being whether the phone can sustain that performance, which users will get on to.
Camera
OnePlus has also kept things quite basic in terms of its rear camera array, which mostly depends on one primary lens having 64 megapixels for a good degree of quality across all captured images.

It is a really respectable experience for the cost, with photographs that can employ HDR for more vibrant colors and a wonderful wide-angle perspective for default shots, which gives you the confidence that you will be able to fit everything you see into the frame.
You may crop into a 2x digital zoom anytime in order to get a squarer and more classic format, and the difference between the first and second photographs is shown below for your reference.
From some photos captured by this phone, we have seen that images feature a good color palette, which is perhaps a touch more garish and vibrant than it is realistic. However, that is something that the majority of people are likely to love rather than despise. Some of our photos taken on purpose directly into the sun on a hot day, demonstrates that the camera can perform well in lighting conditions that are tough.

Moving on to the front of the phone, its selfie performance is absolutely good, but users will much like the results when they won’t utilize the now-required portrait mode. Moving on to the back of the phone, its performance while taking videos is also quite solid.
Performance
Obviously, a lot of the information presented here is about the phone's specifications on paper, and the experience of actually using the phone is not quite as straightforward. On the one hand, for instance, the display really does look fantastic the vast majority of the time, and the refresh rate is capable of producing an impression of real-world fluidity.
On the other hand, the Snapdragon 695 5G at the phone's core might not be up to the task of handling this resolution and 120Hz. Users can be experiencing fairly consistent scrolling lag in a variety of applications. This is not due to a problem with the refresh rate but rather is something that occurs while the phone loads in more content.

Even while gaming locally without the need to bring in data, there is still a tendency for latency, particularly if you crank up the graphics settings on the phone. Tests were conducted with the phone linked to super-fast 5G and dependable internet.
Battery and Charging
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite has a 5,000mAh capacity, which enables it to comfortably survive through a typical day's worth of usage and even sometimes comes close to lasting for two full days. Another advantage of a phone this cheap is that it supports 33W rapid charging, and the charging brick that comes with it lets you charge up pretty quickly.
There is no support for wireless charging on this device.

Price of OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite in Bangladesh
The Nord CE 2 Lite is officially available in Bangladesh right now. Users can buy the 8GB by 128GB versions at BDT 29,990. However, the price is subject to change.
Verdict
The Nord CE 2 Lite is an inexpensive smartphone that offers a variety of appealing features despite its low price point. That being said, from the unit's LCD display to its mono speaker arrangement, the Nord CE 2 Lite will leave media enthusiasts wanting more in terms of sound quality and playback options.
The CE 2 Lite makes use of a powerful chipset that is ready for 5G, and, despite the fact that it is not the fastest. In addition to that, in contrast to its rivals, the device provides users with the option of a bloat-free custom skin, which is fantastic.
Read Motorola Moto G22 Review: Is it a worthy budget phone?
One of the major drawbacks of the CE 2 Lite is the lack of a more powerful processor for all the high-end features it has. When all is considered, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is a respectable smartphone for OnePlus die-hards.
Oneplus 10R Lite: What will it offer?
It's possible that OnePlus may launch the OnePlus 10R Lite in the Indian market very soon. It has been speculated that the handset in question would be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition that was only recently introduced in China. This is not the first time people are seeing something like this, as the firm previously rebranded the OnePlus Ace as the OnePlus 10R for the Indian market.
Key Features of Oneplus 10R Lite
Design
The Oneplus 10R Lite has a pretty high level of brand awareness due to its striking look. The 10R utilizes a plastic middle frame and a plastic rear cover. The overall grasp is fairly satisfying, and customers have a choice between two colours for the Oneplus 10R Lite: light speed blue and competitive grey. This selection allows customers' aesthetic requirements to be satisfied to a large extent.
When it comes to lightness and thinness, the phone has a thickness of 8.7 millimetres and weighs 205 grams. The camera module section of the Oneplus 10R Lite employs a square matrix with three built-in cameras. In addition, the phone has a weight of 205 grams.

Screen
The Oneplus 10R Lite comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its screen is made of LCD material featuring a resolution of 1080p. It offers a 6-speed adaptive dynamic frame rate, and has AI intelligence dimming. Additionally, this model is extremely silky and smooth for day-to-day usage.
The support to stream high-definition videos from services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video helps to make up for a few issues. These files make it possible for you to watch your favourite movies in high definition and round out the experience with a powerful speaker.
Therefore, the screen of this latest OnePlus Smartphone may not be the best one available, but it offers the most value for the money by giving a screen of a good quality that is suitable for media consumption, such as viewing movies, playing games, or browsing social media websites.

Camera
This particular kind of smartphone, the Oneplus 10R Lite, has two cameras—one on the front and one on the back. Although the back camera employs a camera module with a "64 Megapixel main camera + 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens + 2 Megapixel macro lens," the front camera only has 16 Megapixels, yet the total image impact is still quite impressive. Xiaofang still supplies you with a few proofs in order to provide you with a deeper comprehension of the camera capabilities that are available in the Oneplus 10R Lite.
Scenes are often rendered in a manner that is accurate thanks to the sensor's color science, which is thankfully not very sophisticated. Even in dim conditions, the main sensor of the smartphone does a respectable job of preserving the details of the scene. Having said that, the graininess of the images is quite noticeable, particularly when the night mode was used.
The cameras did not have a dynamic range that was sufficient. The photographs that have been provided seem to have a tone that is fairly warm. Sometimes the tone makes the overall appearance of the photographs seem better, while other times, it makes it look worse. In low light, the contrast becomes more pronounced. To keep the same level of quality in photographs shot during the night, further attention is required. With the main camera, users are able to capture movies with maximum quality of 1080p at a frame rate of 30 fps.

Performance
The Oneplus 10R Lite is powered by a processor known as the Dimensity 8100-MAX, which is essentially a modified version of the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. As was said previously, the processor has already been included in the OnePlus Ace and the OnePlus 10R that are sold in India. On the software side, the phone comes preinstalled with Android 12.0-based ColorOS 12.1, which is the default operating system. The system supports up to 12 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and 256 GB of storage onboard.
The Oneplus 10R Lite has exceptional overall performance when compared to other mobile devices. A comprehensive frame rate assessment was performed on each of them. The mobile game has an average frame rate of 59.7 frames per second.
The Oneplus 10R Lite is supported by the MTK frame stabilization strategy and the GPA stabilization strategy of the HyperBoost game frame stabilization engine. Both of these strategies are intended to improve the overall quality of the gaming experience. The performance is excellent overall.

When the battery is completely depleted, it can be charged to 20 percent in five minutes, and the battery can be charged to 76 percent in thirty minutes. The final remaining battery capacity was measured by IGeekPhone to be 52 percent after it was subjected to a heavy endurance test that lasted for five hours.

The conversion rate here is 1 INR = 1.3 BDT. However, the official price in Bangladesh may change due to tax and other issues.

OnePlus 10R Review: Is it a worthy Midrange Flagship Killer?
Since their merger with Oppo, OnePlus steadily ventured into the mid-range market with their Nord series. Fast forward to 2022, OnePlus has lined up a mid-range successor to their flagship 10 Pro. The phone is officially known as the OnePlus 10R globally. But the Chinese variant comes with the OnePlus Ace branding. The device officially launched globally on 4th May 2022.
The company has long since lost its flagship killer title as it focused on the premium segment. But will the likes of 10R be able to revive that title for the Chinese brand? Let's find out.
Key Features of OnePlus 10R
Design and Build Quality
The design of the OnePlus 10R is unlike any other previous device from the company. OnePlus is notoriously known for experimenting with the design with each iteration of its flagships. The same has trickled down to their entry-level device as well.
Read Motorola Edge 30 Review: What’s special about this upper-midrange phone?
The device itself is a plastic built one with the frame and the back both sporting frosted plastic. However, the back features a dual-tone with the right side being frosted and the left side having a vertical texture under the camera module.
The OnePlus logo has also moved from the center position to the bottom right corner. The box-like frame can be easily compared with the iPhone 13 series as they both share the same thickness. Overall, the 10R design choice brings a breath of fresh air in a typical OnePlus fashion.
Moving on to the ports and buttons, the right side houses the power button. Unlike the other OnePlus models, the volume rockers are situated on the opposite side of the power button. OnePlus finally removed the headphone jack this time around which was otherwise available on the Nord series.

The bottom of the device features the secondary mic, sim slot, and Type-C port. The sim slot features dual nano sim options and unlike the predecessors, users won’t be able to swap one out for the micro SDXC. The 10R, in all its innovative approach with a few drawbacks still impresses, at least on the design front.
The Display
The OnePlus 10R features a 6.7-inch FHD+ plus display. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The panel is completely flat with no curves. Bezels on the panel also shrunk significantly to give a more uniform look all across the surface.
The display is OnePlus’s own version of high AMOLED called Fluid AMOLED. Even though the panel is an FHD+ one, it is still stacked with features that are otherwise reserved for even higher-end panels. There is 1B color with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The HDR10+ will allow the device to stream at an even better quality making it a perfect media consumption device.

The panel can go up to 1200 nits under direct sunlight. Though users will have control of up to 800 nits as the max brightness is triggered by the light sensor. The display also boasts some of the best viewing angles on any smartphone. There’s virtually no color shift whatsoever.
One thing to note is that the device comes with a warmer tone out of the box. Users will be easily able to color calibrate the panel from the settings.
The Camera
The camera on the OnePlus 10R is quite something to look at. It's one thing to move around the camera modules but what OnePlus has done here can only be called a “vertical triangle” setup of the triple sensors.

The main lens is the oversized one which takes much of the center stage. The 8 MP ultrawide and the 2 MP macro shooter finds their place at the foot of the main sensor on the two sides. Speaking of the main sensor, it is a 50 MP f/1.8 lens with PDAF and OIS.
The OIS is a huge addition here as it significantly increases the video stability of the device. The main sensor performs similarly to the Nord 2 with decent color capture and dynamic range. The lens does an excellent job of exposing the subject to different lighting conditions all the while preserving the dynamic range of the shots.
For low light environments, OnePlus has their proprietary night mode which arguably gives iPhone and Samsung a run for their money. In the test, the night mode perfectly captured the subject with the optimum amount of exposure and grain reduction.
Read Vivo X Fold Review: Can it outsmart the other foldable phones?
The selfie camera on the 10R is a 16 MP one. It’s a generic shooter which doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Overall, the camera system on the OnePlus 10R performs just as expected from it.
Processor and Performance
The OnePlus 10R sports MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max. The 8000 series from MediaTek is a lighter version of their 900 range chips. The chipset is based on a 5 Nm architecture with 4 2.85 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 chip configurations. The processor is also coupled with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
The choice of going with MediaTek over Snapdragon is understandable even though all the high-end OnePlus devices are powered by Snapdragon. The 10R is after all a mid-range device so cost-cutting also becomes a priority.
Read Xiaomi Redmi 10c Review: Can this budget phone fulfill users’ needs?
Speaking of performance, the 8100-Max processor won’t let users down. The processor can easily run graphics-intensive games at a medium to high setup. There aren’t any lags but a few frames drops here and there. The device does an excellent job at power management. Even after an extended period of gaming, the device doesn’t heat up or lose a significant battery.
So, who is this device for? The 10R can be a perfect choice for anyone looking for a utilitarian phone which can also be used as a light gaming device.
Battery and Charge Time
The OnePlus 10R comes in two variants – one that has a 5000 mAh battery which is the regular version. The other one is a 150W version which has a 4500 mAh battery. The 80W version can go from 0 to 100% in just 32 minutes whereas the 150W version can go from 0 to 100% in just 17 minutes.

Price of OnePlus 10R
The price for the 8/256 GB variant of the OnePlus 10R in the Indian market is 42,999 Rs. The price roughly translates to 48,435 BDT (1 INR = 1.13 BDT). However, in Bangladesh, the official price of the OnePlus 10R is subject to change depending on various factors.
Verdict
The OnePlus 10R is yet another capable device from the brand that has become synonymous with high power performance. Even though the 10R is aimed at the mid-range market, the pricing would justify its position at the upper end of the mid-range category. As a result, some of the choices like a plastic body don’t exactly reflect the premium pricing users will have to pay for the device.
Other than that, the device absolutely shines in the display, camera, and especially the battery department. So, should you buy it? If you are on the lookout for a powerful and reliable android at a less than flagship price, then definitely yes. But if the build quality is your concern, then OnePlus 10R won’t live up to the expectation.
