realme GT 5G makes global debut
Youth-focused brand realme Tuesday launched its flagship killer phone realme GT 5G along with three new AIoT products – realme Watch 2 and 2 Pro and realme TechLife Robot Vacuum – in the global market.
Realme also revealed its new elevated AIoT strategy and plan to bring in its first laptop and tablet for global consumers within the next few months.
With the launch of GT 5G, realme has entered the global mid-to-high-end smartphone segment.

Realme GT 5G, inspired by the core concept of grand tourers (GT) sports cars, is expected to deliver high speed and exceptional performance.
The phone features Qualcomm's most sophisticated high-end chipset Snapdragon 888 along with a premium speed-inspired design, a stainless-steel cooling system for sustained performance, a super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 65W super dart charger.

Also, it is equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This flagship phone also has dual light sensors, greater connectivity, a flagship camera, immersive audio and exclusive GT mode.

Realme GT 5G's global launch set for June 15
Global smartphone brand realme is all set to introduce its flagship phone – realme GT 5G – to the global market on June 15.
Realme CEO Sky Li will deliver the opening speech at the global launch event whereas Madhav Sheth, VP and CEO of India and Europe, realme, will talk about the company's business strategy.

The event will come to a close with the unveiling of realme's new AIoT products.
Inspired by the slogan "sheer speed flagship," realme GT is an amalgamation of cutting-edge design and technology. The phone has captured the original essence of the Grand Touring (GT) experience for young users.

Apart from the flagship launch, realme will also unveil its new AIoT strategy and a new line of products labelled under realme TechLife. After the launch of realme GT 5G in the global market on June 15, the flagship phone will be released in the local markets.
Discount prices offered on realme phones during Daraz campaign
Smartphone buyers can now get smartphones from the realme C series and the number (8) series at discounted prices during "Daraj Electronics Week."
They can enjoy up to 16% discount and other deals during the campaign until June 15.

C20A is available at Tk7989 while the price of the newly-launched realme C25 will start at Tk13,197 and number flagship (8 series) at Tk19,986.

5G phone: Realme targets 100 million youth customers by 2024
Chinese technology company realme is planning to put 100 million 5G phones in the hands of young consumers around the world by 2024.
realme partnered with Qualcomm, GSMA and Counterpoint Research to host the inaugural "Making 5G Global: Accessibility for All" virtual summit Thursday.
At the summit, realme reiterated its commitment to work towards the advancement of 5G adoption globally. Also, the company revealed that the realme GT 5G performance flagship and the realme GT camera flagship are set for release in June and July.

In 2020, realme launched 14 5G devices in 21 markets. The company also expects to establish seven research and development centres around the world and invest $300 million globally in 5G technology research and product development in 2021 to expedite the adoption of 5G products.
Speaking at the summit, Madhav Sheth, VP and CEO of India and Europe, realme, said: "Starting with our first 5G model, the realme X50, we have been exploring new design concepts and technical innovations to bring users more slimline and design-rich 5G phones that have a powerful performance."

"While the growth of 5G coverage is encouraging, a survey by GSMA shows that other barriers remain for widespread adoption of the new technology amongst consumers, such as affordability of the devices, lack of digital literacy and skills, and costs of mobile data. Nevertheless, the transition to 5G is inevitable across the world, and 5G is expected to bring $600 billion to the global economy over the next decade," said Kalvin Bahia, principal economist of GSMA Intelligence.
Realme Bangladesh Managing Director Tim Shao said: "As we can see there are many barriers to adopting 5G technology all around the world, this is where realme will be putting its efforts. We want to live up to the expectations of the youths and the youths need smart technology like 5G. We will introduce affordable 5G phones to empower the youths and help the country embrace 5G."

Realme to bring Snapdragon 778G 5G, Android 12 Beta 1-equipped smartphone
Smartphone brand realme has recently announced that it is working on new fronts to equip its smartphones with a top-notch processor and operating system – Snapdragon 778G 5G and Android 12 Beta 1.
The new phones will hit the global market soon. The company has been working with Qualcomm to incorporate the latest technologies into its phones so that the users can enjoy excellent performance and advanced gaming features.
