Bangladesh logs another Covid death, 35 cases
Bangladesh reported another Covid-linked death and 35 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
The total fatalities rose to 29,427 and with the new infections, the caseload rose to 2,036,166, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 0.85 per cent from Saturday’s 1.20 per cent as 4,114 samples were tested during the period.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate rose to 97.43 per cent.
In October, the country reported 60 Covid-linked deaths and 10,043 cases.

Bangladesh reported another Covid-linked death and 140 more cases in 24 hours till Thursday morning.
With this, the total fatalities in the country rose to 29,425 while the caseload rose to 2,035,657, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 3.10 per cent from Wednesday’s 4.81 per cent as 4,511 samples were tested during the period.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 per cent and the recovery rate rose to 97.35 per cent.
In September, the country reported 40 Covid-linked deaths and 13,251 cases.

Bangladesh reported 527more Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
With no new deaths reported country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,339 while with the new infections, the total caseload rose to 2,017,614, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate jumped to 12.72 per cent from Saturday's 9.66 per cent from as 4,143 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate declined to 97.17 per cent.
In August, the country reported 32 Covid-linked deaths and 6,689 cases.

Covid-19 claims two more lives in Bangladesh
Bangladesh reported two more Covid-linked death and 363 new cases in 24 hours till Friday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,339 and caseload to 2,016,946, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 10.87 from Thursday’s 8.91 percent as 3,340 samples were tested.
The latest deceased were a man and a woman from the Dhaka division.

Bangladesh reported 421 more Covid infections in 24 hours till Monday morning.
As no new deaths were reported, country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,334 and with the new case the caseload rose to 2,015, 308, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 9.83 percent from Sunday's 8.87 percent as 4,560samples were tested.

Global Covid cases top 612 million
The overall number of global Covid cases has now crossed 612 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 612,521,932 while the death toll reached 6,512,972 on Friday morning.
The US has recorded 96,959,165cases so far and 1,074,787people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.

India recorded 3,775 new Covid-19 infections in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,482,411, official data showed on Thursday.
According to federal health ministry data released on Thursday morning, with the fresh cases, India's active caseload currently stands at 54,117.
The country also logged 33 Covid-related deaths in 24 hours, bringing the overall toll to 528,090, the ministry said.

Global Covid cases surge past 608 million
The overall number of global Covid cases has surged past 608 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 608,700,634 while the death toll reached 6,498,459 on Friday morning.
The US has recorded 96,465,126 cases so far and 1,072,125 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.
India's federal health ministry reported 3,928 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours on Thursday morning, taking the total tally to 44,440,267 in the country.

With the reporting of the fresh cases, India's active caseload currently stands at 66,676.
The country logged 37 more related deaths, pushing the overall toll to 527,911 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

With the new numbers, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,325 and the caseload to 2,012,162, it added.
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 5.46% from Wednesday’s 4.20% as 3,955 samples were tested.

The deceased included a man and woman from Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, respectively.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46%. The recovery rate remained static at 97.24% as 232 patients recovered during this period.
Global Covid cases top 606 million
The overall number of Covid cases has now crossed 606 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 606,549,461 and the death toll reached 6,489,855 on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 96,091,120 cases so far and 1,069,499 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.

According to India’s federal health ministry data released on Monday morning, 3,948 new cases of Covid were reported in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,419,671 in the country, the world's second largest caseload, according to official data.
The cases reported on Sunday marked a decrease compared to the daily caseload of Sunday, which was 9,436.
The country also logged 45 related deaths in 24 hours, pushing the overall toll to 527,799 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

The overall number of Covid cases has now surged past 604 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 604,121,644 and the death toll reached 6,482,764 on Friday morning.
The US has recorded 95,844,677cases so far and 1,068,111 people have died from the virus in the country, the data shows.
According to the federal health ministry data released on Thursday morning, 7,916 new cases of Covid were reported in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,386,836 in the country.
