Bliss Balls by THE BANGU VEGAN !
Dhaka, Apr 8 (UNB) - I have seen and heard of meat balls, bhorta balls, fish balls, chicken balls from CP, protein balls from the famous BOOST Juice in Banani 11 but have you ever heard of bliss balls? I am sure most of you haven’t. These are literally vegan balls which, when eaten, will make you feel like you’re in pure bliss. These bliss balls are prepared by THE BANGU VEGAN. I had my first bliss ball after my yoga practice in the YOGANIKA studio. From then onwards, I usually eat one post – yoga practice/workout or as a substitute of dessert to meet my sweet cravings.
An Ideal Discovery in Bashundhara
I visit Bashundhara Residential Area quite often, thanks to the classes in North South University and my friends living there. Being a foodie, I always complained my friends about this area not having much decent restaurants where you can peacefully eat and chill with both friends and family. This was possible when there was Kozmo Lounge in the area which is now replaced by Khanas. Even if there are few good places to eat, it is quite challenging to access those due to the rickshaw stand, ‘kaacha bazaar’ and the infinite number of people walking all over the footpath near the Bashundhara R/A entrance.
A Low-Key Fine Dining Experience At S’mores Dhanmondi
The Rangs Fortune Square building has become quite the hot spot in Dhaka over the last few months. From hosting the second branch of last year’s hit, Yum Cha District to accommodating the crazy line of Dominos, Rangs at Dhanmondi Road 2 has become “the place” serving your caffeine, dumpling craving and more.
Carver's - Deli & Smokehouse: The Hidden Gem at Gulshan
Dhaka, Mar 30 (UNB)- While winter in Bangladesh means barbeque season, it is quite the opposite in the USA. Their summer comprises of beaches, barbeque, and baseball. After looking far and wide for a space that would not only give off a backyard B.B.Q vibe but also serve such food, I came across Carver’s.
Beautiful Izakaya Part 2
I am so content with their food, ambiance and excellent customer service that I can’t stop myself from revisiting that place. Every time I meet my friends in Dhanmondi, this is the place I visit loyally. My friends and I ordered plenty of items which were Fried Nori Beef Tacos, Chicken Cheese Yaki, Spicy Chicken Ramen (pan fried chicken and slow boiled egg topped over fiery hot ramen soup) and Black Sesame Icecream. As promised before in my first article on Izakaya, I’ll be covering Deep Fried Nori Beef Tacos, Chicken Ramen and Black Sesame Icecream. So here they are.
Beautiful Izakaya !
Are you into Japanese cuisine? If yes, have you ever tried Japanese fusion food and that too in the unusual Banani/Gulshan area? Today’s write-up is about a famous restaurant in Dhanmondi. I am sure by this time most of you are already guessing the right name. Located in Dhanmondi, the name of the place is Izakaya and I would highly recommend this if you want to experiment with Japanese fusion food.
A bit of Kolkata at Banani
Dhaka, March 19 (UNB)- Nothing sounds more delectable than a warm thali (plate) of good Bengali or Indian food when you’re craving something desi and Kolkata’s famous, ‘The Bhoj Company’, ticks all the right boxes when it comes to just that. Luckily for Dhaka residents, Bhoj has a franchise right in this city.
Hawaii weighs first-in-nation plastic bans at restaurants
Honolulu, Mar 19 (AP/UNB) — Hawaii would be the first state in the U.S. to ban most plastics at restaurants under legislation that aims to cut down on waste that pollutes the ocean.
A ROAD TRIP TO KARGIL- the unseen story
Dhaka, Mar 18 (UNB)- Well, when I first heard the name, the first thing popped into my head was ‘WAR’. This could be a very dangerous, risky, unsafe place to explore. This is how I summed up my visit to Kargil.
Cocos Nucifera
Dhaka, March 18 (UNB)- Belonging to a family of doctors have a lot of advantages, the major one being gaining health tips without the use of Google and Wikipedia for a change. Another one was being instilled the habit of eating nutritive food items and drinks like eating eggs, different types of fish and vegetables, drinking water and the list goes on. One habit that I have been following religiously till date is drinking green coconut water a.k.a. ‘Daab’er Pani’ and eating the White meat a.k.a. ‘Shash’ or ‘Malai’ since childhood. Let us have a look at the health benefits of coconut water.
