Gas supply to remain suspended in parts of Narayanganj
Gas supply will remain suspended for 24 hours from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday at different areas in Narayanganj.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company said the disruption is due to works on gas connection to Meghna Industrial Economic Zone in Narayanganj from Sonargaon TVS.

So, gas supply will remain off for all kinds of consumers in Meghnaghat, Sonargaon, Pirojpur, and Nangolbondh, it said in a press release.

Consumers may experience trouble in gas supply from Monday to Wednesday due to disruption in delivery of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd said consumers may experience disruption or low pressure in gas supply from June 14-16 as unloading of LNG from ships is being disrupted due to inclement weather.

“This creates disturbance in supply of 400 million cubic feet of gas per day (mmcfd) to the transmission system”, it said, adding that consumers of different groups including households, industries, power plants and commercial users may suffer.

The Titas Gas regrets the inconveniences of its consumers, it added.
Gas supply to stop in some city areas Tuesday
The supply of gas will remain suspended for 12 hours from (9 am to 9 pm) at some areas of the city on Tuesday.
According to Titas Gas Supply and Transmission Company Ltd, the areas include Kamlapur Rail Station to Titipara slum, Saydabad bus terminal, Mugda, Golapbagh, Beltala, Maniknagar, Atish Dipankar Road, RK Mission Road, Gopinagh, Uttar Jatrabari, Dhalpur.

The gas disruption will take place due to relocation works of gas pipeline from Titipara to Golapbagh to facilitate the implementation of the Padma Bridge Rail project, said Titas Gas.
It also said the consumers in the adjoining areas may experience low pressure for the relocation works.

Areas in Dhaka where gas supply to be suspended Sunday
Gas supply will remain suspended for 4 hours from 1 pm to 5 pm at different areas in the city on Sunday.
According to Titas Gas Supply and Transmission Company Ltd, the areas include Kamlapur Rail Station to Titipara slum, Saydabad bus terminal, Mugda, Golapbagh, Beltala, Maniknagar, Atish Dipankar Road, RK Mission Road, Gopinagh, Uttar Jatrabari, Dhalpur.

No gas supply to several capital areas Thursday
There will be no gas supply in several areas of Dhaka city for up to six hours on Thursday, as the gas distribution company is taking up pipeline relocation work.
In a statement, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company said that supply will remain suspended from 10am to 4pm on Thursday (May 27) at Tejkunipara, Tejgaon Girls' School, Kawran Bazar, Khirstan Para, Sonargaon Hotel and Kathalbagan.

Other areas to be affected by the supply disruption are Dilu Road, Paribagh, eastern side of Sonargaon Road and western side of Kataban.
According to Titas, supply will be cut off to facilitate relocation of a gas pipeline from Tejgaon Rail Crossing to Sonargaon Hotel. Adjacent areas of the affected locations may also experience low pressure in supply for the same reason, it said.
"Pipeline relocation is part of a route alignment of utilities under the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project," the company added.
Gas supply to remain suspended in Narayanganj, Munshiganj
Gas supply will remain suspended in parts of Narayanganj and Munshiganj for 24 hours from Monday morning due to emergency maintenance works.
A handout from the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said an emergency maintenance work at the Siddhirganj city gate station (CGS) will be carried out from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday.

During the maintenance work, consumers in the Narayanganj city area, Siddhirganj, Adamji EPZ, Godnail, Pagla, Fatulla, Narayanganj BSCIC area, from Panchabati to Muktarpur, Munshiganj Sadar, Munshiganj BSCIC, Rekabi Bazar and adjoining areas will experience no gas supply or low pressure in gas supply, the ministry said.
The ministry and Titas Gas authorities have regretted the temporary inconvenience.
Gas supply disrupted in Narayanganj, Munshiganj
Leakages in valves at Shiddhirganj regulating and metering station (RMS) have disrupted gas supply to Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has directed the officials of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribition Ltd to take immediate steps to normalise the gas supply in the areas.

Regretting the inconvenience caused by the disruption in the gas supply to the two districts, he said the supply will get normal shortly with the installation of a valve in the transmission line, said a press release of the ministry concerned on Tuesday.
Some leakages have developed in different valves at the Shiddhurganj-Godhnail regulating and metering station (RMS) and Godhnail TBS, forcing the authorities concerned to immediately suspend the gas supply to Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts.

The gas supply to the two districts will get normal soon, the press release added.
Gas supply to remain closed in Nakhalpara, adjoining areas on Wednesday
Gas supply will remain shut at different areas in the city on Wednesday (January 6) from 9 am to 5 pm due to relocation of pipelines to facilitate the construction work of Dhaka Elevated Expressway (DEE) from Mohakhali Bus Terminal to Moghbazar.

Gas supply will remain suspended for eight hours from 10am on Tuesday at different areas of Dhaka city due to gas pipeline repair works.
According to a press release of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, the areas where gas supply will remain suspended are -- Fatullah Post Office Goli, Prime Textile, Delpara, Bhuigar and its adjoining areas.
During the time, gas supply to all household consumers, industries, commercial ventures, and CNG refueling stations will remain suspended, said Titas Gas.
