Dengue: 77 new patients hospitalised in 24 hrs
Another 77 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till Wednesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among them, 59 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka while the 18 in other places, it said.
As many as 333 dengue patients including 258 in the capital are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
On Tuesday, this year’s death toll from the mosquito-borne viral disease rose to 12 with two more deaths reported from Cox’s Bazar.

Among the total deaths, eight were reported from Cox’s Bazar while four from Dhaka.
On June 21, the DGHS reported the first death of the season from the viral disease.
In July, the country reported 1,571 dengue cases with nine deaths.
This year, the DGHS has recorded 2,889 dengue cases and 2,544 recoveries so far.

Forty-six new dengue patients were hospitalised in 24 hours till Tuesday morning as cases are rising in Bangladesh.
Among them, 43 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka while the remaining three patients in other districts, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
As many as 152 dengue patients, including 139 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
The dengue cases are rising in the capital allegedly due to insufficient measures taken by the two Dhaka city corporations in preventing mosquito-borne diseases like dengue.

Fifteen new dengue patients have been hospitalised in the country in 24 hours till Monday morning, health authorities said.
Fourteen of the new patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka while the remaining one was admitted to a hospital outside the capital.

Some 34 dengue patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the country as of Monday.

Some 35 dengue patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the country as of Saturday.

Since January, some 27,483 patients have been admitted to different hospitals with dengue in the country. So far, 27,091 dengue patients have left hospitals after recovery, said DGHS.
