Bangladesh logs another Covid death, 35 cases
Bangladesh reported another Covid-linked death and 35 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
The total fatalities rose to 29,427 and with the new infections, the caseload rose to 2,036,166, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 0.85 per cent from Saturday’s 1.20 per cent as 4,114 samples were tested during the period.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate rose to 97.43 per cent.
In October, the country reported 60 Covid-linked deaths and 10,043 cases.

Bangladesh reports zero Covid death, 48 cases
Bangladesh reported 48 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
The total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,426 as no death was reported during the period.
With the new infections, the caseload rose to 2,035,930, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 1.72 per cent from Monday’s 1.79 per cent from as 2,798 samples were tested during the period.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate rose to 97.40 per cent.

Bangladesh reported two more Covid-linked deaths with 679 fresh cases in 24 hours till Thursday morning.
With the new numbers, country's total fatalities rose to 29,362 while the total caseload to 2,024,489, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 13.53 per cent from Wednesday’s 14.07 per cent as 5,017 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 per cent while the recovery rate declined to 97.04 per cent respectively.
In August, the country reported 32 Covid-linked deaths and 6,689 cases.

Bangladesh reported 421 more Covid infections in 24 hours till Monday morning.
As no new deaths were reported, country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,334 and with the new case the caseload rose to 2,015, 308, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 9.83 percent from Sunday's 8.87 percent as 4,560samples were tested.

Global Covid cases near 611 million
The overall number of global Covid cases is approaching 611 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 610,723,356 while the death toll reached 6,504,981 on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 96,643,172 cases so far and 1,072,978 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.

India's daily Covid-19 caseload Monday decreased to 2,725 taking the total tally to 44,465,170 in the country, according to federal health ministry data released on Tuesday morning.
The country also logged 16 related deaths in 24 hours, pushing the overall death toll to 528,007 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

With the new number, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,327 and caseload to 2,012,531, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 6.51 per cent from Friday’s 5.68 per cent as 2382 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46 percent. However, the recovery rate decreased to 97.24 per cent from Friday’s 97.25 per cent.

Global Covid cases top 606 million
The overall number of Covid cases has now crossed 606 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 606,549,461 and the death toll reached 6,489,855 on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 96,091,120 cases so far and 1,069,499 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.

According to India’s federal health ministry data released on Monday morning, 3,948 new cases of Covid were reported in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,419,671 in the country, the world's second largest caseload, according to official data.
The cases reported on Sunday marked a decrease compared to the daily caseload of Sunday, which was 9,436.
The country also logged 45 related deaths in 24 hours, pushing the overall toll to 527,799 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

The overall number of global Covid cases is approaching 596 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 596,947,974 and the death toll reached 6,456,487on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 94,788,022 cases so far and 1,062,770people have died from the virus in the country, the data shows.

According to India’s federal health ministry data released on Monday morning, 7,306 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country in 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,275,687.
With the reports of the fresh cases, India's active caseload currently stands at 124,814.
The country also logged 32 related deaths in the 24 hours, pushing the overall death toll to 527,069 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

The daily case positivity rate rose to 4.75 percent from Thursday's 4.45 percent as 4,585 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46 percent. The recovery rate rose to 97.11 percent from Thursday's 97.10 percent.
