Man attacked in latest sequel to land dispute dies at DMCH
A man admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after being seriously wounded in an attack by rivals over a land dispute in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj district, died of his injuries early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Md. Milon Hawlader, 45, son of Rustam Hawladar of Chandni village in Naria upazila in Shariatpur district.
Nazim Hossain, nephew of the victim, said that his uncle Milon was visiting their village home at Char Pania in Sirajdikhan upazila in Munshiganj since March 11.

In the background was a clash between some villagers and local members Farrok and Kamiz Uddin Kamur, again over land on March 9.
Since then, male members of some houses, including Nazim's, went into hiding. That made Milon the only male member of the family in the house at the time.
