IAFM plans to produce 13 full-length films in 2022
International Academy of Film and Media (IAFM) plans to produce as many as 13 full-length feature films in 2022.
The academy has been organising a script lab for making full-length films since May this year, and the journey of treatment starts from the 20 ideas submitted in the lab.

Giovanni Robbiano, an honourary member of the European Film Academy and a renowned Italian screenwriter, was the lab mentor. At the end of the training, he selected 13 treatments for the final screenplay.
The selected members who will write the screenplay of these 13 full-length stories from Bangladesh are Partha Gupta, N. Rashed Chowdhury, Towhidul Alam, Tayran Razzak, Monir Hossain, Amin Robin, Mehedi Mustafa, Jaganmoy Paul, Anarya Murshid and Sandeep Biswas.
The remy selected members -- Nandita Paul, Sudipta Kundu and Vivek Poddar -- will write from India.

According to Bibesh Roy, director of the International Academy of Film and Media, the selected 13 treatments will be turned into full screenplays starting from October 20, by participating in a script development workshop with direct training and advice from Giovanni.
Fellow of IAFM, filmmaker Anarya Murshid, who participated in the script lab, said that the selected screenplays from the treatment will be made into full-length films next year at the initiative of the International Academy of Film and Media and funded by international co-production.
