Wrong question paper distribution won’t affect results: Jashore Board
Bagerhat, Feb 3 (UNB) – Distribution of ‘wrong question paper’ among the SSC examinees in some centers on the first day of the examinations on Saturday won’t affect their results, said Controller of examinations of Jashore Board Madhab Chandra Rudra.

IU unveils ‘Shabdo Tad’ magazine
Islamic University, Jan 31 (UNB) - The Islamic University (IU) authorities unveiled the cover of ‘Shabdo Tad’, a literary magazine by Swapna Shahidya Parsad, on the campus in Kushtia on Thursday.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari unveiled the magazine cover as the chief guest, sources at IU Information, Publication and Public Relations Office said.
IU former proctor and its syndicate member Professor M Mahbubar Rahman and IU Bangla department Chairman Professor M Saidur Rahman were present as special guests with the editor of the magazine Onny Atikur Rahman in the chair.
IU CYB gets new committee
Islamic University, Jan 30 (UNB) - Shamimul Islam Sumon of Arabic language and literature department and Mustafizur Rahman of folklore studies department were elected as the president and secretary of Consumer Youth of Bangladesh, a volunteer organisation of the university, on Wednesday.
Professor M Maher Ali of IU English department and the director of Institute of Islamic Education and Research, also the moderator of the organisation, announced the committee in the afternoon.
Among others, Professor Rashiduzzaman of IU Bangla department, CYB IU unit member and tourism and hospitality management department lecturer Shoriful Islam Jewel and CYB Joint Secretary Emran Shuvro were present.
Other office bearers are - vice-presidents Humayun Kabir Shuvo and AR Rashed, Joint Secretary Wahed Ali, Treasurer Sajed Akter Joly, Assistant Treasurer Majhar Uddin, Organising Secretary Abdur Yusuf, Assistant Organising Secretary Shahedul Islam, Office Secretary Nazmul Islam, Publicity Secretary Raton Ali, Public Relation Secretary Saifur Rahman, Consumer Rights Secretary Shammi Akter, Research Secretary Reshma Akter, while Taskin Habib Akash, Kamona Khatun, Arman, Nazrul Islam and Ashraful Islam are its members.
