Housing and Public Works Secretary Shahid Ullah Khandaker inaugurated the ‘Rajuk Service Week’ at its head office in the capital.
The secretary asked the Rajuk authorities to be strict in making people abide by relevant rules while constructing building and processing lands. “Intensify your surveillance also to check the violation of the building code.”
“Rajuk has been working relentlessly to build ‘Digital Bangladesh’ announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and it has recently introduced two services--‘Land Use Clearance’ and ‘Construction Approval’-- through online. All the Rajuk services will be available on online in phases,” said Shahid Ullah.
He said no utility services will be available if there is no land use clearance.
The five-day ‘Rajuk Service Week’ will continue till June 27.
