The design of the new JnU campus and its Power Management Institute, to be built in Keraniganj, was shown to the Prime Minister through a power-point presentation at her office.
Briefing reporters after the event, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the design of the new campus of the university and its Power Management Institute.
She instructed the authorities concerned of the university to build structures of the university keeping asides adequate spaces for playgrounds and water-bodies.
The Prime Minister asked them for keeping a system to harvest rainwater and give proper attention to the environment.
PM's Energy Adviser DrTowfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu, PM's Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of the university Dr Mizanur Rahman, Power Division Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus and Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem were present on the occasion.
