Nilphamari, Nov 14 (UNB) – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested two alleged cattle smugglers along with Indian cattle from Bhogaburi bordering area in Domar upazila on Tuesday.
The arrestees were identified as Joyen Uddin, 32, and Abdur Razzak, 18, of the upazila.
Sensing movement of two people in the bordering area during regular patrol, a team of BGB-56 challenged the duo and arrested them, said Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Kalam Azad, commanding officer of BGB-56.
A case was filed in this connection.
