A bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice KM Hafizul Alam rejected the plea clearing the way for the ACC to quiz the BNP leader.
ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan said that the court’s order proves that ACC’s notice was legal so Amir Khasru have to appear before the ACC now.
Earlier on September 11, the court after hearing the writ petition set Sunday to pass an order over the matter.
ACC sent a summon notice to Khasru's Chawkbazar house in the city on August 16 asking him to be appear before it on August 28 for interrogation over the graft allegations while the BNP leader filed a time petition to the ACC for collecting necessary documents.
Later on September 3, Amir Khasru filed a writ petition with the High Court challenging the legality of the ACC’s notice.
