Nigerian recruit Kingsley Chigozie scored the equaliser for Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club from a penalty kick during the stoppage time after Ballo Famoussa took Muktijoddha ahead scoring a goal in the 69th minute.
After a goalless first half, Muktijoddha SKC booters were desperately seeking chances to score. They continued their attack and finally got the success in the 69th minute when Ivory Coast recruit attacking midfielder Famoussa netted the goal for them.
However, Mohammedan were awarded a penalty in the stoppage time and Kingsley Chigozie converted the kick correctly to equalise the score.
With this feat, Famoussa (8) climbed the top of the scorer list along with Dhaka Abahani’s Nigeria recruit Sunday Chizoba Nwadialu, followed by another Dhaka Abahani forward Mohammad Nabib Newaj Jibon (7).
Sixth-placed Muktijoddha SKC have now 15 points, two points ahead of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club. On the other hand, bottom-placed Mohammedan with 6 points remained in the 11th spot with seven losses in 11 matches.
