The victim’s 12-year old son Parvez found her mother’s throat-slit body covered with a blanket on her bed around 10 am, Mostafa Kamal, officer-in-charge of Nawabganj Police Station, said quoting Parul’s brother Jewel.
Hearing his screams, locals rushed in and informed police, said the OC.
Later, police recovered the body.
The victim’s brother alleged that his brother-in-law, who is a drug-addict, used to torture his sister. “He killed my sister and went into hiding,” said Jewel.

Keraniganj, Jan 15 (UNB) – Police recovered the throat-slit body of a housewife at Dighirpar in Nawabganj upazila on Tuesday.
