Satkhira, May 21(UNB)– Export-import through Satkhira’s Bhomra land port took a severe blow on Tuesday morning after workers in India’s Ghojadanga went on a strike.
Indian C&F agents staff and Cargo Welfare Union are enforcing a four-day strike called to protest against the launch of digital system at Ghojadanga customs station.
Bhomra C&F Association President Ramkrishna Chakrabarty said that export-import has been reduced by 70 percent.
