Dhaka, Aug 23 (UNB) — Bangladesh Emerging Team to take on their Sri Lankan opponent in the one-day series decider on Saturday at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
In the first game, Bangladesh failed to chase down a big total of 304 runs. While chasing the target of 305 runs, they tumbled for 118 all-out in 28.3 overs.
In the second game, Bangladesh recovered their batting performance as the captain Najmul Hossain Shanto and middle-order batsman Yasir Ali hit the fifties.
Riding on their batting performance, Bangladesh won by two wickets in the second game chasing down the target of 274.
So the third and final game of the three-match one-day series became a final for both teams.
After the one-day series, both teams will lock horns in a two-match four-day series. While the first four-day game will take place in Khulna the second game will be held in Cox’s Bazar.
