Dhaka, Aug 17 (UNB) - A 28-member team of April 25 Sports Club (4.25 SC) of North Korea arrived here on Saturday to play their away match of the knockout phase of the AFC Cup against Dhaka Abahani Limited at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on August 21.
The match will kick off at 6:45pm.
Abahani Manager Satyajit Das Rupu said the North Korean club landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 2pm.
The team will stay at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel and start their training session on Sunday (August 18) at the Abahani Playground in Dhanmondi.
Six-time Bangladesh Premier League Football champions Abahani reached the knockout phase for the first time as the champions of four-team Group E while April 25 SC stormed the knockout phase emerging Group I champions.
In their way to the knockout phase, the North Korean Club defeated Taiwanese club Hang Yuen and two Hong Kong-based clubs Kitchee and Tai Po.
After the home match, popular sky-blue Dhanmomdi Abahani will play the away match on August 28 at the Kim-ll-Sung Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea.
