Dhaka, Sept 15 (UNB) — Afghanistan have won the toss against Bangladesh and opted to bat first in their second game of the ongoing Tri-series T20I on Sunday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Afghanistan have made no change in their playing that won their first game against Zimbabwe. Bangladesh also opted to take the field with the same playing XI that beat Zimbabwe in the first match of the event.
Before today’s encounter, Bangladesh and Afghanistan played each other in seven T20Is and Afghans won six of them.
Bangladesh playing XI: Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan (c), Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Taijul Islam, Liton Das, Mosaddek Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin, Afif Hossain.
Afghanistan playing XI: Hazratullah Zazai, Najibullah Zadran, Gulbadin Naib, Najeeb Tarakai, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan (c), Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Karim Janat, Fareed Malik.
