Writ seeks stay on DU ‘Gha’ unit admission process
Dhaka, Oct 21 (UNB) – A writ petition was filed with the High Court on Sunday seeking a stay order on the admission procedure of ‘Gha’ unit for 2018-2019 academic session under Social Science Faculty of Dhaka University (DU).
Ruet admission tests Sunday
Rajshahi University (Rajshahi), Oct 20 (UNB) - The admission tests for first year Honours courses at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet) under 2018-2019 academic session will be held on Sunday.
This year, a total of 7,488 applicants across the country will sit for the written tests against 1,235 seats under 14 departments.
The ‘Ka’ unit test will be held from 9am to 11am while that of ‘Kha’ unit from 9am to 12 noon.
The results of the tests will be published on October 31.
DU student Akhter falls sick; admitted to DMCH
Dhaka, Oct 18 (UNB)- Akhter Hossain, a student of Dhaka University (DU) who went on hunger strike on Tuesday demanding cancellation of ‘Gha’ unit results and retaking of the admission test, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday after he fell sick.
