Afghanistan has seen a spike in the number of coronavirus cases which rose to 906, Public Health Ministry spokesperson Wahidullah Mayar said Friday.
According to the official, 66 new positive cases of the disease have been confirmed in the country over the past 24 hours with 26 in the capital city Kabul.
Mayar also said that 45 patients have recovered over the past 24 hours and the number of recovered patients since the outbreak of disease in mid February has reached to 99.
No patient has died over the past 24 hours, Mayar said, adding that the death toll remains at 30.
