US-Bangla to resume Dhaka-Kolkata flights from October 21
US-Bangla Airlines will resume its Dhaka- Kolkata flights from October 21 under the air bubble agreement inked between Bangladesh and India.
The flights will leave Dhaka at 9:45 am every Thursday, Saturday and land in Kolkata at 10:45 am (local time). On the same days, the flights will leave Kolkata at 11and land in Dhaka at 12:30 PM.

The passengers’ will have to secure negative report of Covid-19 RT-PCR test within 72 hours before taking flight. They will also need to get molecular test done on their own expenses after landing in Kolkata.
All the passengers are now allowed to travel to India under the air bubble deal following the current visa related directives.
With all the taxes and surcharges applied US-Bangla’s Dhaka-Kolkata one way flight ticket price is Tk 7,226 and the price of return ticket is Tk 12,733.
On September 2, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) accepted the Indian civil aviation ministry's proposal to resume Bangladesh-India air bubble flights on September 4.

Later, India and Bangladesh mutually decided to increase the frequency of flights under the Air Bubble arrangement from 7 to 21 per week per country.

US-Bangla Airlines is going to start operating flights to Male, the capital of Maldives, from the third week of November.
US-Bangla is going to operate flights on Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route four days a week as part of its previous plan, said a media release on Saturday.
It will operate 164-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Dhaka to Male.

The US-Bangla fleet consists of a total of 14 aircraft, including 4 Boeing 737-800s and 7 brand new ATR 72-600s.
US-Bangla airlines planned to operate the Male flights to serve tourists and expatriates in Maldives, the release added.

US-Bangla Airlines will resume flights on Dhaka-Chennai-Dhaka route from Sunday maintaining all health protocols under air bubble agreement with India.
US-Bangla flights will leave Dhaka for Chennai at 10:30 am on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday and will land Chennai at 12:40 pm.

On the same day, the flights will leave Chennai at 1:30 pm and land at Dhaka at 4:30 pm, said a press release.
The one-way fare on the route(including surcharge and taxes) has been fixed at Tk 12,399 while the fare will be Tk 19,893 with return facility.

US-Bangla to run Jashore-Chattogram-Cox's Bazar, Saidpur-Chattogram flights
US-Bangla Airlines will operate flights from Jashore to Chattogram and Cox's Bazar, and from Saidpur to Chattogram.
The private carrier will start operating flights from Jashore and Saidpur to Chattogram on September 30 and from Jashore to Cox's Bazar on October 1.
The airline will initially operate flights from Jashore to Chattogram three days a week, flying from Jashore to Chattogram Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 9:15am. It will leave Chattogram's Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport for Jashore at 5:10pm on the same day.

Also, the private carrier will run flights to Chattogram three days a week from Saidpur, the only airport in the north. It will fly from Saidpur to Chattogram Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:45am. The airline will leave Chattogram for Saidpur at 12:35pm on the same day.
In addition, US-Bangla will operate four-days-a-week flights from Jashore to Cox's Bazar. Initially, it will leave Jashore for Cox's Bazar Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1.45pm; and it will leave Cox's Bazar for Jashore at 3.25pm.

The minimum fare from Jashore to Chattogram, including all taxes and surcharges, is Tk6,000, and the return fare is Tk12,000.
In addition, the minimum fare from Jashore to Cox's Bazar is Tk6,500, and the return fare is Tk13,000. The minimum fare from Saidpur to Chattogram is Tk6,200, and the return fare is Tk12,400.
Also, US-Bangla plans to operate flights from Saidpur to Cox's Bazar, Sylhet to Chattogram and Cox's Bazar soon.

US-Bangla Airlines enters 8th year
Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines Saturday entered the eighth year of providing services on domestic and international routes.
US-Bangla Airlines started its journey in the aviation industry of Bangladesh on July 17, 2014, by operating flights on Dhaka-Jashore with two Dash8-Q400 aircraft and soon started running flights to all operational airports within Bangladesh.
The airline now runs flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Syedpur, Barishal, and Rajshahi.
US-Bangla started its journey on the international route on May 15, 2016, two years after the launch of the Dhaka-Kathmandu route. It now operates international flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou.
The airline plans to operate flights to more international destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Colombo, Male and Delhi soon.
US-Bangla owns 14 aircraft, including four 164-seat Boeing 737-800s, 72-seat ATR 72-600s and three 76-seat Dash 8-Q400.
The private carrier now has about 1,500 employees at home and abroad.
Also, US-Bangla is providing several special services such as luggage delivery within 15 minutes of the landing of international flights, a 20% discount for senior citizens, a 10% discount for military officers and golfers.
The airline not only transports passengers but also cargo to various domestic and international destinations.
"In today's world, there is no substitute for brand new aircraft to provide proper service. US-Bangla is constantly adding new aircraft to its fleet to ensure comfortable service for passengers," US-Bangla Managing Director Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mamun said on the occasion of the airline's 7th anniversary."
NOVOAIR, US-Bangla to resume Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar flights Tuesday
US Bangla and NOVOAIR airlines will resume flight operations on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route from Tuesday (June 01, 2021) after nearly two months of suspension.
US Bangla will operate two flights on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route every day following health guidelines as per the directives of the Civil Aviation Authorities of Bangladesh (CAAB).

The flights will leave Dhaka at 9:30 am and 3:30 pm in a day while from Cox’s Bazar the flights will fly to Dhaka at 11:05 am and 5:05 pm.

The authorities concerned have fixed minimum fare at Tk 4299 for one way journey on the route with tax and surcharge while the fare will be Tk 8,598 including return facility .

Besides, NOVOAIR is set to resume its flights on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route on Tuesday.
Two flights will operate on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar routes daily.
NOVOAIR has also announced 10% discount for all destination on the ticket fares for SMILES members.
Cox’s Bazar flights were suspended from April 5 as per the government directive to prevent coronavirus infection.
SMILES members can purchase tickets through NOVOAIR sales offices from June 1 to July 31, 2021.

US-Bangla Airlines is going to start a weekly special flight on Dhaka-Guangzhou route from Saturday.
Civil Aviation Authority has permitted the airline to run this flight maintaining special health protocols.

Every Saturday the 164-seat Dhaka-Guangzhou-Dhaka flight will leave Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:10 pm for China’s Guangzhou.
On Sundays the flight will leave Guangzhou for Dhaka at 5 am.

As directed by government, all passengers must have Covid-19 negative certificates at least 72 hours before flying.
In addition, returning passengers have to stay at institutionalized quarantine or hotels for 14 days at their own cost.

US-Bangla Airlines, one of the country’s leading private airlines, is set to operate special international flights on four routes after maintaining health protocols from Saturday (April 17).
The flights will be operated on Dhaka-Dubai, Muscat-Doha and Dhaka-Singapore routes with special precautions, said a media release on Friday.

It said nine flights will be operated on Dhaka-Dubai route, while seven on Dhaka-Muscat route, four on Dhaka-Doha and one on Dhaka-Singapore route every week.
All the international travellers must have Coronavirus negative certificates which should be collected at least 72 hours before flying as directed by the government.
Besides, all the returnees from foreign countries will have to stay in institutionalised quarantine for 14 days and bear the expenses personally after landing at Dhaka airport.

On April 11, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) said it will suspend all the international flights as the government was going to impose a strict lockdown from April 14 to contain the spread of Covid-19.

However, there will be no restriction on the movement of chartered flights, cargo flights and special flights carrying high commissioners of different countries and foreign nationals.
The flight operations on domestic routes have remained suspended since the enforcement of lockdown in the country from April 5.

Also, on April 1, the civil aviation regulator suspended the entry of passengers from all European countries, except the UK, and 12 other countries to Bangladesh from April 3.
As the spread of Covid-19 has sparked alarm across the country, the government enforced the nationwide lockdown from April 14 in its bid to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
