Head of the RMCH Microbiology department Dr Bulbul Hasan said they tested samples of the doctors, nurses and other staff members—ayas and cleaning workers -- in the past two days till Thursday and all of them were found negative.

RMCH Deputy Director Dr Saiful Ferdous said those who were sent on quarantine were working at the emergency department and wards 39 and 42 of the hospital.
A patient named Abdus Sobhan, 80, was admitted to the hospital on April 17.
He was first treated at ward 42 and then at ward 39 and finally at the coronavirus ward.
Doctors took his sample on Monday and found him positive for coronavirus on Tuesday.
So far, eight people have tested positive for coronavirus in the district.
