Satkhira, Dec 14 (UNB) - Police arrested 54 people from different parts of the district in an overnight special drive on Thursday on various charges.

Sub-inspector Azam Khan of the Special Branch of Satkhira district police said they conducted the drive from Thursday evening to Friday morning and made the arrest.

The arrestees face various cases, including of sabotage and drug peddling, filed with different police stations of the district, he said.
