Dhaka, May 13 (UNB) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Monday resumed their direct flights between Dhaka and New Delhi.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali was on hand for the resumption at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. A 15 percent discount will be available to customers until May 30.
Mahbub Ali said “We are very happy that the Dhaka to Delhi flights have resumed after remaining shut for past few years as it would intensify communication between the neighboring countries.”
Primarily the 162-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft will operate the route, with outbound flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The fare for economy class of Dhaka-Delhi-Dhaka return ticket with one month tenure excluding taxes has been set at $300 and for one year tenure the fare will be $320.
