Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of veteran cinematographer Afzal Chowdhury.
In a condolence message, the Foreign Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Afzal Chowdhury breathed his last on Thursday in a hospital in the capital. He was 92.
Born in Sirajganj in 1931, Afzal Chowdhury was fond of photography from an early age.
He shot many cinemas in Dhaka under the direction of renowned novelist, writer and filmmaker Zahir Raihan and many others.
