Jashore, Jan 5 (UNB) – Freedom Fighter Dr Kazi Rabiul Haque and also a leader of political and cultural movements passed away at hospital in the capital on Saturday noon. He was 79.
Haque Haque had been suffering from liver cancer for long and was undergoing treatment at BIRDEM (Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders), said DM Shaiduzzaman, president of Udichi Shilpigosthi, quoting deceased’s son Kazi Karno.
He will be buried in Karbala Graveyard in the district town after a namaj-e-janaza, family source said.
