The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday said the recent meeting between Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin and his Pakistan counterpart Dr Arif Alvi in Saudi Arabia was "unscheduled" one.

President Shahabuddin was performing Holy Hajj at the time, it said.
In a weekly media briefing at the Ministry, Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Director General (Additional Charge) of Public Diplomacy Wing, said they exchanged pleasantries during the unscheduled meeting.
