Islamic University, Feb 5 (UNB) - The National Library Day-2019 has been observed at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday.
Marking the day, the teachers, officers, students and staffs of the university brought out a procession led by IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, from in front of the university’s administration building around 10 am.
The procession ended in front of the university’s central library after parading main roads of the campus.
Around five hundred people including IU pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, its acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, IIER director Professor M Maher Ali and librarian M Ataur Rahman participated in the procession.
Later, a discussion programme was held there at Central Library.
