The newly elected committee of the North Bengal Journalists Forum (NBJF) formally took charge at a ceremony in the capital Saturday (June 24).
Former president of the organization Modabber Hossain handed over the responsibility to the newly elected committee president Mokarram Hossain and general secretary Mufdi Ahmed.
A fruit festival and cultural program was organized on the occasion of handing over the charge at Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club.

Former Press Secretary to the Prime Minister and Editor-in-Chief of BSS Abul Kalam Azad, BFUJ President Omar Faruk, former Secretary General Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan, Managing Director of Sangbadik Kalyan Trust Subash Chandra Badal, Jatiya Press Club Senior Vice President Hasan Hafiz, Joint Secretary Ayub Bhuiyan, Ashraf Ali, Member Farid Hossain, Senior Journalist Mostak Mobaraki, Bhanu Ranjan Chakraborty and Abdul Mannan were present at the program.
