Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury read out the prorogation order of the President around 9:49pm.
Three bills were passed during the session that began on April 24.
During the session, 166 notices were placed under Section 71 of the Rules of Procedure, of which nine were accepted and one was discussed in the House.
Besides, 45 notices were discussed for two minutes under Section 71 (Ka) of the Rules of Procedure.
A total of 44 questions were received for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She replied to 11 of them.
The session received 1,040 questions for different ministers with the ministers answering 375.
While reading out the prorogation order, the Speaker welcomed the BNP and Gonoforum MPs for joining Parliament.
During the session, five BNP MPs joined Parliament taking oath. But another BNP MP-elect Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir did not join Parliament and his constituency, Bogura-6, fell vacant.
The five BNP MPs were incorporated in the five parliamentary standing committees reconstituting those during the second session of the 11th parliament.
The session also unanimously adopted a resolution urging parliaments, governments and citizens of all the countries of the world to put up resistance against terror incidents and sexual harassments.
In the resolution, Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad also expressed its deep hatred and anger at the huge casualties in the terror attacks in New Zealand Christchurch mosques, Sri Lankan churches and hotels where Zayan Chowdhury who is a grandson of Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Health Ministry Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim was killed, as well as sexual harassment towards madrasa student Nusrat and burning her to death in Sonagazi upazila of Feni.
The current parliament formed through the December-30 general election went into its maiden session on January 30, which was prorogued on March 11 after 26 sittings.
