He said Abdul Hamid is a voter from Mithamain upazila in his constituency (Mithamain-Astagram). “Special security measures will have to be taken for his safety if he goes to cast his vote there which will create problem for general voters. PM Sheikh Hasina
Sheikh Hasina will cast her vote at the Dhaka City College centre in the morning. “Dhaka City College is the polling centre of the AL chief,” PM's Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan told UNB over phone on Friday.
PMO sources say Sheikh Hasina will go to the polling centre in the early hours of voting.
Oikyafront chief Dr Kamal Hossain
Dr Kamal Hossain will cast his vote at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College polling station in the morning.
At a press conference at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) on Saturday, he said he will cast his ballot by 8am to 9am at the centre near his house. “Exercising franchise is my right. It’s not a matter of confusion. I’ll surely go to the polling station nearby my house (Viqarunnisa) on foot by 8am to 9am to enjoy my right,” Dr Kamal said.
CEC KM Nurul Huda
The CEC will exercise his vote at IES School and College centre at Road-6 of Uttara Sector-5 in the morning.
He will start for the polling station from the Nirbachan Bhaban at Agargaon around 10am, said his personal secretary AKM Mazharul Islam.
However, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia cannot cast her vote in the election as she has been in jail since February 8 last as she was convicted in a graft case. Later, she was convicted in another case.
Voting in the 11th national election will begin across the country at 8am on Sunday, and continue without any break till 4pm.
